This is my first time coming here with my two children. We ordered two plates of food. The chicken and rice shawarma platter and the beef gyro. I asked for two extra empty plate so I can dish out the food for us to eat and they made it very difficult to give us the extra plate. At first I was confused as to why they were making a big deal for me asking for two disposable plates. My girls are age 7 and 8 and they gave me such a difficult time for a disposable plate!!! I lost my appetite I could not even eat. They were completely rude. The owner herself made a an issue about the extra plate I was asking for. They gave me two forks as well and since it was three of us I asked for an extra fork but again I wasn’t sure if they would be so cheap when it came to plates and utensils. We visited the frost museum that day and my girls were so looking forward to their shawarma but I will never return here again. They are completely rude, very arrogant and as new customers that is not encouraging me to return ever again. I could understand if I asked for a bunch of plastic plates but 2 plates??? I will never...
Read moreThe food is AMAZING, OUT OF THIS WORLD! B U T, the customer service provided by the owner, who's also the cooker, server, the one in the cash register, answers the phone and watches more than 3 kids during hours of operations🙄 I mean, no wonder why SHE YELLED at me infront of all my family and other customers for wanting to modify out the 5 sharwarmas I ordered some of the items. Because the food was so great, we came back, maybe that was a busy day as she stated multiple times as she was writing down the changes I wanted for 1 of the food ( no onios) The 2nd time we went, I asked my self, why did I give her another chance? The owner was RUDE, MEAN, and this has nothing to do with a cultural thing, she decided to made us feel like we owe her anything. Unfortunately for me, I got to respect myself and not comeback there. I'm guessing she's okay with the way she's treating customers that are the ones providing food to her family table. All I know, her GOD is...
Read moreFirst and last visit!! This particular eatery ME/Levant does not cut the mustard, and is high-priced for the grade of food. Take-out order with various food choices were not up to snuff as a STANDARD fare. Tahini dressing in small cups were lumpy and not fluid - need addressing. Tabbouleh is questionable and not too fresh. Fried kibbe (really high in sodium) appears to be store bought (frozen) and not jumbo as server expressed. There’s a place in Plantation that truly serves jumbo fried kibbe (and made fresh). Overall, “ok” and just “OK!” Nothing to write home about. And lastly, hygiene is a concern as observed (breathing towards food area - server/preparer appears to have just smoked outside locale) and not washed, etc. NOT RECOMMENDED, seek elsewhere!! P.S. Cashier has a peculiar way of of coaxing you or soliciting a tip, etc. for a takeout. Do not fall for this at this eatery or elsewhere unless you receive...
