SHIK-SHAK — Restaurant in Miami

We asked a question about one of the things we wanted to order and the owner was very rude. Truly awful service and no need to speak to anyone so badly. All we wanted was to have some a specific type of meat removed (we would have still paid full price) but instead the owner shouted at us so we felt we had to order it as it was. The food was very average. We asked for BBQ sauce twice and the sauce which came with our order was very bland and nothing like BBQ at all. Disappointed as this was meant to be a special treat for a special occasion. We found other halal places in Miami which were much better quality of food and friendlier staff (with proper seating and much cheaper prices!!)

REPLY TO RESPONSE FROM OWNER: I am not from NY and have never had food from their food trucks in NY so please don't make up rubbish. I have no idea where you are getting this nonsense from. I went to other lovely food Halal food places in Miami which had served burgers with much nicer tasting sauces, cheaper prices and indoor seating. Do not make assumptions about where I am from. I have travelled the world and your food (and especially attitude to any criticism) has by far been disappointing to...

This eatery is located out of a trailer/mobile kitchen in the Edgewood neighborhood. We tried the Shik-shak Burger and Crazy Chicken sandwich. The burger was absolutely amazing. It was prepared fresh and was super filling. The meat was cooked well and the toppings were plentiful. The crazy chicken was just as good. The burger/sandwich themselves were so filling we couldn’t finish the fries. It is Halal.

The atmosphere was acceptable, it’s located near other trailers that also serve other sorts of foods so there is a communal seating area. The only bad thing was that it opened at 6 PM. The service was good too. The owner asked people that were smoking near our table to move away so that we wouldn’t have to deal with smoke fumes. I would definitely recommend this to any family or friends. Lastly, parking can be a headache and the lot next to it costs at least $22 dollars...

Fresh, quality, unique, amazing. Top 5 burgers I ever had- A MUST TRY. I came to visit Miami from New York City- the food capital of the world. I tried a lot of burgers from across NYC- but this place very different compared to any place I ever went to. I tired it the first time and I was so impressed that I took my friends the second time and every one of them loved it.

The chief took so much care in his craft, he really cares about the quality of the product he presents. usually you just throw things into the burger- but it was all placed so nicely and with organization, there was a science behind it.
