Sushi MAS — Restaurant in Miami

EDIT: After speaking with the hospitality management team, I believe there was a fair resolution to the scenario below. As I have ordered from sushi mas so many times in the past with no issues, I do believe that the one-off scenario with their staff is something that is forgivable and the quick response from the team and personalized attention was greatly appreciated. I will definitely be going back!

Original: When I came to pick up my order tonight, the host said that he did not have my order and that someone came before me and stole it. He told me that he would make a new sushi roll for me and it would be ready in 10 minutes which I was completely fine with. It was about 20 minutes before the restaurant closed and when the host went back to tell the chefs they started screaming so violently and using every single swearword in English in Spanish that I genuinely was concerned for everyones safety. After about five minutes of intense, screaming between the host and the chefs, The host came up to me and said that he would just cancel my order because the chefs did not want to remake it. At this point it is 10:40 PM and I hadn’t eaten anything all day so I was left searching nearby places that...

Latest update: good customer service. Went back - brisket noodles, salmon avocado sushi and shrimp tonkatsu. The soup noodles tasted great, the salmon in the sushi was kind of tasteless, not as flavorsome as other fresh salmon I've had elsewhere. Happy with my order this time, even provided extra wasabe after I asked for it. Order was correct when I picked it up so I was pleased with their attention and remedial action. I would return for the noodles and try some other sushi again.

Previous update: customer service responded back and acknowledged their mistake. Pleased with their response and will try again.

Original review: They got my order wrong - gave me soy base, not the miso base that comes with the vegan mushroom ramen. I specifically scoured the menu looking for a non-soy base veg soup noodle dish and this is what I chose, but sadly NOT what I got. So I ate dried noodles and they don't seem to care. I recently tried Sushi Mas for the first time and I'm so glad I did! The sushi is absolutely delicious - the salmon is so fresh and flavorful, and the cream cheese in my NYC roll was perfect. The prices are a bit high, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. Plus, they have great deals on Uber Eats which makes it even more worth it. I also love that they now send little containers for soy sauce - such a great touch!

The ramen here is also amazing - definitely worth trying if you're looking to switch things up from sushi. It can get busy during weekends though, so plan your order ahead of time if possible. They also offer take out discounts if you order directly from them which is a nice bonus!

The service here has been great too - Thomas has been really helpful every time I've ordered from them. He's always willing to answer any questions or help me decide what to order when I'm feeling indecisive. All in all, Sushi Mas has become my favorite sushi spot in South Florida and I'll be sure to keep coming back for more...
