Toasted Bagelry & Deli — Restaurant in Miami

Trying this place for the first time. I’m from NY and this place advertises as NYC ain’t got nothing on us. Sorry but no. The bagels don’t come close to a NY bagel. I must say the place does have a great atmosphere and lots of natural light coming in. I parked on the street with paybyphone. But there is parking the building next door garage for $3 for 30 mins. OJ was a bit pricey for $6 and change. The music was great and upbeat and super clean. Women at the counter was very rude and did not take our order for 7 minutes while standing at the register… no other clients around. Other employees sat at their phone in the kitchen, clearly visible, but not taking orders…

When advised that we would leave if the order wasn’t taken, they were rude and didn’t care. I have had this experience with this particular branch and the women working at this time several times. Our entire office team will not go there anymore due to the service we received today and we will spread the word of our experience in the surrounding buildings.. I have given this place soo many chances because I live walking distance and actually like the food but boy is the staff incompetent. Wow. I always order the SAME EXACT THING: An everything bagel with a PLAIN omelette. Bacon and plain cream cheese on the side please. I even break it down and say it slowly every time.
