I am not one to leave a negative review unless it is terrible service and this was one of the worst experiences I have ever experienced! We arrived at sonic on May 18th, 2020 at 8:30pm and ended up waiting in the drive thru at the speaker for over 15 minutes I asked 4 different times for someone to help me with 6 cars behind me until I finally had someone get on the speaker and tell me to hold on! No apology, No Explanation of why I was waiting that long...NOTHING! At that point I drove up to the kitchen area got out of my vehicle to ask them face to face why they weren’t taking my order and why everybody behind me was waiting and they got extremely nasty attitudes towards me and told me I was unwelcome where they were and I needed to leave! I ended up wasting 30 minutes after it was all said and done not getting my food or drinks and having to drive across town to 90th south in West Jordan to get what I went to Midvale for! Biggest mistake I ever made was going to this Sonic and Wasting the time I did! If I knew I was going to be treated the way I was and others I would’ve never gone there in the first place. Extremely unprofessional, and makes me very upset that one of my favorite places to dine out was that out of character! I’ll make sure management and Corporate hears from me and the others who were involved!
On that note the 90th south location was GREAT and they had awesome customer service and...
Read moreWe went to Sonic at 11 pm on Saturday the 17th of March. I understand that’s a busy night, but we were quoted a 10 to 15 minute wait for our order of two medium shakes and 4 corn dogs. We agreed to wait, but were not aware we would be waiting for 40 minutes. That’s right. 40 minutes. I am not exaggerating. I actually had to call for help as the runner was walking by. I understand waiting but the people behind us had all gotten their food, and when they eventually came out again to run orders to the new cars behind us I finally stopped the guy to ask about our food. He asked what we ordered and had it out in less than five minutes. We got the food for free which was nice and it tasted great and was fresh, but if you notice someone waiting for an extremely long time.. why are you just going to keep surpassing them? We were shocked no one asked us what our order was or checked up. If they had forgotten okay or messed up fine, but you can’t just leave the customer sitting in the drive through for nearly an hour hoping they just leave. I am pregnant and was craving a shake like crazy, or I would have left. It really sucked being treated that way. The kicker is they couldn’t figure out which car an order went to and the order looked like ours. They asked one other car if it was theirs and that was it. Had they asked us we could have been out 20 minutes earlier....
Read moreAfter a long, hard day of work, all I wanted was a chocolate Snickers shake. Unfortunately that didn't happen! After waiting in the drive thru line for over 15 minutes, they finally realized that one of the employees had put the intercom on hold and no orders were coming through (this realization occurred only after the car behind me called in and told them that something was definitely wrong because there was a line of six cars waiting to place an order). One of the employees came out and told me to pull forward and manually wrote down my order on a sticky pad. After waiting for another 15 minutes, and seeing the car behind me and two cars behind that receive their order, I was understandably frustrated and disappointed. When they finally brought out my order, I expressed my frustration that I'd been waiting over 30 minutes and the employee responded by thing me that they were behind on orders and that they also had a couple of new people working that night. I understand the need to train new hires and that there's a learning curve when you're a new employee, but don't have brand new people that apparently don't quite know what they're doing start on a Saturday night when it's obviously going to be very busy. When all was said and done, I'd been there over 35 minutes! WTH. Oh, and they even managed to forget the Snickers in my chocolate...
