At Big O's BBQ, every bite is a symphony of flavors meticulously crafted by a team that has truly acted on their passion for barbecue. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere resonates with the aroma of sizzling meats, and you can feel the anticipation building as the team behind the counter skillfully displays their expertise.

The joy sparked by each bite creates a feeling of pause as your taste buds forge a new connection with the rich, smoky goodness. It's more than just a meal; it's an experience that's been carefully produced to evoke the highest emotions of satisfaction and delight.

Big O's BBQ goes beyond being a mere dining establishment; it's a place where every detail is thoughtfully handled to provide a personalized, competent, and convenient experience. The team, like maestros, administers their craft with an unconditional commitment to excellence, ensuring that every customer leaves not just satisfied but deeply moved by the culinary symphony.

What sets Big O's apart is not just the mouthwatering menu but also the genuine care they put into every dish. The commitment to providing the highest level of product or service is not just a promise but a proved reality with every succulent bite.

I recently enjoyed a plate of ribs that not only exceeded my expectations but came with an equal portion of brisket, a designer basket of smothered steak fries, and an atmosphere that made me feel like I was dining with a newfound family. This place is more than a dining experience; it's a celebration of flavors, a reunion of joy, and an oasis of satisfaction. For the price of some ribs, I got a feast that went above and beyond. Big O's BBQ is not just a must-visit; it's an essential journey for anyone who craves a genuine, heartwarming, and flavor-packed...

Upon walking in to Big O's around 4:30pm I was the only customer. It felt like a mistake because of the lack of people. However, I was dead set on what I was going to order prior to walking in and thought it'd be difficult to mess up pulled pork nachos. So I ordered my full order of loaded nachos and 2 spare ribs. Now, unboxing it looked good, although the ribs looked dry. The loaded nachos, however fell short. There was very little pulled pork, lots of cheese, sauce (and extra sauce on the side) sour cream, beans, and stale chips. When I got under the surface of it all there were nothing but crushed chips; disaponting. The lack of pulled pork was highly disappointing! Next the ribs. The ribs fell off the bone just looking at them. This shouldn't be! They should have a slight tug nut fall off. Most of the ribs was very easy to eat while there was a large portion that was very tough. This indicates they over cooked it while cooking it under high heat to get it done fast. What was good, if you like sweet sauce, was the BBQ sauce. The service was nice to as they seemed friendly. Im not sure if I would go back as there were to many negatives. Do they have the potential to get better? Only if they are...

We flew in from Seattle and the first thing I wanted was a good BBQ spot. Big O’s was down the street from our hotel so we pulled up. As soon as I walked in, I realized we were in the right place. Big O and his lovely wife treated us like we were family they hadn’t seen in years. One of the “family members” we bumped into was actually a former player on his football team that had come in for some great food and fellowship. Both the food and hospitality were superb! When I asked what was good, he said everything. Between the 3 of us, we had pork ribs, brisket, green beans, potato salad, fried okra, loaded nachos and the famous Oreo pudding. It sounds like a lot and it was but we left nothing on the table. When I thought I was done, he blessed me with some a glass of lemonade. Calling it lemonade doesn’t do it justice. My only regret is that scheduling didn’t allow me to visit again. Just know that when you decide to treat yourself to great food & a backyard family Q, Big O’s needs to be your...

OK well.. started off a little confusing we ordered the 3 meat combo but we were notified that one of the meats has to be either a sausage or hot link. Which didn't make sense, if I pay for a 3 meat I want my 3 choices but no you only get 2 of what you really want. Service was great employees were really nice. Clean place, let's start with the ribs they were a little small not a big deal flavor was ok but they seamed a little too done. One bite and it turned almost into mush which told me they had been over cooked or been there in the warmer too long. Chopped brisket same as the ribs turned into mush soon as I took a bite. Needs a little more seasoning. Sausage was ok. The white potato salad was really good no complaints on that. The fried okra was basic un seasoned too much grease.

This place is so good! I’m so happy a family owned bbq place is in Midwest city! We didn’t wait long for our food. Big-O and his Wife are awesome and super friendly! The menu is simple and not overwhelming. They have specials every day posted on a chalk board. The place is extremely clean too. I noticed while we were eating that after a customer has finished and left the building, the owners will come by and wipe down the whole area with Lysol and Clorox Wipes which is A PLUS! They even wipe down all of the condiments at the table. The owners are running it and good places are rare in Midwest City, so let’s keep them here! We got the pulled pork sandwich with white potato salad and baked beans. Also got a loaded potato with chopped brisket. 10/10

My husband and I tried this place for a last minute dinner idea and it was great! We got half rack of ribs and they were fall off the bone tender and so flavorful! We got a side of potato salad and the baked beans and both were really good. The baked beans have a sweet barbecue flavor and so good. The potato salad is a little sweet for me, but my husband loved it and it was good. The service was really good and everyone was so kind and friendly and helpful with us deciding what to have. The food was out quick and so good. The restaurant was clean and cute. Would highly recommend and will be back soon! Give them a try for your barbecue cravings!
