So before I begin, this used to be my ultimately favorite ramen place until today. I’d rave to everyone about it. The service was amazing, the food made my belly feel warm and the atmosphere was just very welcoming. Starting about 2-3 weeks ago, I strongly disagree with this now. I don’t know if it has something to do with one of their servers leaving, Christina, because she was also one of the main reasons we kept coming back and referring people here, but everything seems to have went severely downhill.

I along with many others came here for lunch today and there were only two people working which seemed to be the owner, who NEVER interacts with patrons, as well as a girl who seemed very new being she didn’t know how to do many things and struggled to remember things or customers as well. She seemed a little stressed honestly so this review is in no attack on her, but mainly the owner.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and I’ve always gotten either hotpot or chicken ramen. If it’s a quick trip like a work lunch, ramen otherwise hotpot. I came here last week and service was OK the ramen was just oddly bland… but today was a disaster.

I ordered chicken ramen with an extra egg and extra fish cake to dine in. I was the only one in the restaurant at this time. I didn’t get any attention for quite a while even though both the girl and the owner were there. Eventually, I ordered chicken ramen and I received my ramen maybe 10 minutes later with no extra egg or fish cake… okay, maybe they forgot. I get in line to ask for these items and receive no attention even though I was at the register for at least 15 minutes, which during lunch is a long time. The line has reached the door and no one has been helped or acknowledged. It seemed the girl was asking the owner questions and helping prepare orders but it seemed weird he barely interacted with her as well. I end up not asking for the extra items because I only have an hour lunch and i finally dig into my ramen. The chicken broth is very bland again and I take a bite of the egg and end up crunching on egg shells!!

You have to understand this chicken ramen gave me life! But ever since Christina left I honestly think this place will not be what it was. The food was very bland, the service is terrible.. people walk in and stand at the counter and don’t get acknowledged for minimum 10-15 minutes because they’re understaffed and who I assume is the owner never interacts with his customers since the beginning of me coming here.

I loved this place because of how much care was put into making us as their customers happy with the service and the food. But after today and I guess now that Christina is gone, I won’t come here again unless I just have a craving for disappointment.

I’d honestly recommend going to Artisan Ramen instead. Ramen just as good and creamy as anyone would like with great, warm and...

One employee openly admitted "I do not acknowledge men."

First time going to this spot with my girlfriend, I quickly realized, everything I said was not met with responses, but when my girlfriend spoke, everything was normal. We place our order, I paid and tipped as usual and the employee handed the receipt to my girlfriend along with the loyalty stamp card when I was expecting to receive them to look it over. We sat down and when our boba was ready, the employee brought out the boba and place both teas on one side of the table in front of my girlfriend as if they were both hers. Once the food was ready, the employee left the food by the register and not the table where we sat. I noticed the behavior but brushed it off and we left to enjoy our meal and tea outside in the nice weather only to see the employee only put one pair of chopsticks in there. So I went back to grab another pair and asked why they behaved the way they did. To sum it all up, she told me they are self serve (despite them providing one pair of chopsticks in the to-go bag), they are not fast food place, and this employee in particular has been in the restaurant industry for many years. To wear the years of experience in the restaurant industry like a badge and give the kind of service they gave contradicted to me. I understand customers can be a pain, but there was nothing my girlfriend or I did to receive this kind of treatment. I did feel discriminated against as a Black man and expressed this to her. At this point is where she mentioned "I do not acknowledge men." I tried to inquire if this was due to a negative experience in the past but Nope. Which I think is ok but then this is definitely not the right industry. I didn't drink the boba that I saw this employee make because if they openly behaved like that and admitted it - I was a bit concerned about the state of my beverage. The sushi that was made in the back was pretty good. I think I'll go back, but request service from other employees if this one is present. Not the best first...

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Fusion Poke in the Historic Third Ward multiple times, and each experience has been absolutely fantastic! The welcoming and modern atmosphere sets the perfect stage for an enjoyable dining experience.

I’ve tried their hot pot several times, and it’s simply amazing. The variety and freshness of the ingredients are outstanding, with a wonderful selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables. The broths are flavorful and rich, making each hot pot meal a delight. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring a top-notch dining experience every time.

Recently, I also had the chance to order with friends, and it was another fantastic experience. We were all impressed by the quality and taste of the food. The poke bowls were delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that were perfectly prepared. The service was impeccable, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed for a great meal.

Fusion Poke has truly mastered both hot pot and poke bowls, making it one of my favorite spots in the Third Ward. Whether you’re dining in, enjoying hot pot, or ordering with friends, I highly recommend giving Fusion Poke a try. The combination of incredible food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I can’t...

Came here because they have hotpot at this location! Can’t say much about the other menu items they offer since I haven’t tried them (boba and poke), but their AYCE hotpot is a solid deal. For about $31 per person, it includes a good variety of meats, veggies, and other offerings that complete a hotpot meal. Sauce station has just about everything you need (I had to ask for some sugar, but they readily supplied!). My group went on a weeknight, so it wasn’t extremely busy. Staff were attentive and provided what we needed and answered any questions we had. For Milwaukee, this was a very solid hotpot experience. Will have to be back to try the other items! p.s. as of 01/03/2024, they have a deal if you call for a reservation for hotpot, you get a free mini seafood platter (in the image!)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve eaten at plenty of places where food is overpriced and underwhelming… but Fusion Poke in the Third Ward blew me away! 🙌 This self-serve spot is packed with a great variety of fresh, delicious options—hands down the BEST noodles and sushi I’ve had in a long time. Everything is made fresh, and the flavors impressed us big time. Even my mom gave her stamp of approval (and that says a lot)! ♡ Lakelyn took amazing care of us, and the whole staff was super friendly and attentive. The vibe, the service, and especially the food make this place a gem. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through the entire menu!

Love the food here! Sushi, custom poke bowls, and the spring rolls are amazing! The only complaint about the food is the seaweed salad. I ordered not knowing that edamame seeds, cucumber, and cabbage were also in it. There was less than half seaweed in the container. I picked out most of the seaweed, and you can see in the picture how many extra toppings are in the dish. I paid for seaweed, not all these toppings. Will not be buying that again, especially for 5$ and there's barely any seaweed in it. My first dine in experience was a little rude, but over all really great place. 👍
