I have mixed feelings about my experiences at Anthropologie. I genuinely enjoy stopping in on a whim to browse the in-store sale section, and I usually do most of my shopping online. But every time I visit in person, I can’t help but feel watched. I understand associates are trained to be attentive, but sometimes it crosses a line, and it feels less like service and more like surveillance.
On my last visit, I noticed both the fitting room attendant and the sales associate whispering and looking at me repeatedly. It felt uncomfortable and honestly, a bit juvenile. I'm spending several hundred dollars here... I'm not here to steal, I'm here to shop. I work hard for my money and choose to spend it at this store; the least I expect is a little respect and trust. Treated like an outsider in a store I spend real money in is not rly the vibe that makes me want to come back. Is it too much to ask to experience service without side eyes, microaggressions...
Read moreThis review has to do with an online order gone TERRIBLY WRONG!!! I love to decorate and was beyond elated when I found that the couch I’d been eyeing had gone on sale. I sold my antique sectional for dirt cheap in order to make room for my new couch and went on to buy a new rug, side table, plant stand, comforter set and more to compliment a couch that I will never receive because it had already sold out when I placed my order. Now I’m left to pay return fees for each item I purchased which totals upwards of about $200, some items are non-refundable AND to make matters worse I have nowhere to sit!!! Read moreAMAZING staff! I was greeted by not 1, 2, or 3 people but 4! Genuine and helpful ladies!!! They were all smiles and so willing to work with me to find an outfit and they really boosted my energy. I tried on a few dresses, got a few different items and I felt GREAT leaving there. I have bragged to several people about how impressed I am with Anthro's staff at the corners and identified another store that I will not be shopping at again.
