The flavor is rich and savory, with just the right amount of spice and chewiness that keeps you coming back for more. My daughter and I make regular trips just to stock up on this jerky; it’s perfect for snacking on the go or enjoying at home. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always ready to offer samples, which makes it easy to discover new favorites. I also appreciate the handmade sausages—they’re perfect for grilling or adding to a charcuterie!!

Read moreLove the west allis location, but this location done me wrong. There are zero signs that ask you to order at the register—at least none that I’ve seen. I was standing at the deli bar/counter, waiting until the cheese shop employee was ready to help me. He saw me. I was 3 feet away from him. I smiled when we made eye contact but he would look away.
Once he was done with what he was doing, he walked to a co-worker and began chatting and laughing. I thought maybe they were talking about an order, but this went on for a couple minutes until I realized he wasn’t going to help me. I walked over to where they were shooting-the-poo behind the deli counter and said, “Hi, what’s the best way to order?”
He replied, “I’ll take your order at the register.”
At the register, I jokingly said, “Sorry, I didn’t know what the best way to order was. I was super confused.”
He didn’t smile. Didn’t laugh. Didn’t offer apologies for the confusion. He just dead-eye stared at me like, “so? Are we done?”
I paid.
He said, “your order will at the end of the bar when it’s ready.”
He worked on it—fixed half of it—and then began working on something else that involved corned beef. It (my Bloody Mary) sat there for a few minutes before his coworker finished it up and handed it over the bar to me.
This experience made me extremely sad because I work in customer service and I pride myself in making sure the customer has the best experience… obviously, if someone is being obtuse I adjust my walls of defense, but for the most part customers just want help. They don’t know the drill and we can’t expect them to read minds.
Really difficult to enjoy the food, or the experience, when you get done like this. On top of all that, my sister and her daughter were in town from California and I was talking this place up! What a bummer.
I’m super disappointed in the service. Do better, Milwaukee Public Market -West Allis...
Read moreWalking past the outdoor seating area today, I saw what looked like yummy (World's Best?) Bloody Marys. We went through the art fair and got a table. Ordered. We sat immediately in front of the little bar area. Watched others get their drinks...not us. Just us 2 people waiting.....so I asked the server after 10 mins past ordering if it was possible for my chaser to come, and her soda...The server apologized and presented me with a warm (not even barely cool) chaser of beer, and my girlfriend's Sprite. After another 10 minutes the food came. She ordered a simple BLT, toast was black, all edges, looking like they toasted it with a torch. My roast beef was on bread which was bland and dry. Chips were all stuck together and dark greasy brown which seemed like they were deep fried twice. Tick. Tick. Tick. Another 10-15 min goes by.....no bloody mary. Sigh. I asked to have it removed from our bill, was removed, another volley of apologies. Sadly disappointed. Was dying to try the World's Best and was rejected by the...
