On a brisk Sunday evening, with the excitement of Monday Night Football in the air, my son and I, hailing from the verdant landscapes of Oregon, found ourselves wandering the streets in anticipation of the 49ers-Vikings game. Our quest for a good meal and the spirit of the game led us to the welcoming doors of Brits Pub, a serendipitous discovery that soon proved to be a highlight of our trip. Stepping into the pub, we were greeted by the vibrant buzz of fellow sports enthusiasts and a decor that effortlessly married charm with a lively ambiance. It was the eleventh hour, with last call upon us, yet our waiter greeted us with a smile that was as inviting as the warm, eclectic interior of the pub. Her alertness to our timing was a blessing, allowing us to place our order just in the nick of time. Her accommodating nature shone brightly as she navigated us to the perfect spot, aligning our desire for good food with our eagerness to keep an eye on the pre-game football banter on TV. The pub's atmosphere resonated with us, a seamless blend of cool aesthetics. As for the culinary experience, it was nothing short of delightful. The food served was a testament to the pub's commitment to quality and taste. And the beer, opting for something local, I was treated to a brew that was both refreshing and richly flavored, encapsulating the essence of the area's brewing prowess. In retrospect, Brits Pub was not just a place we stumbled upon; it was a destination that captured the heart of our trip. With its friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, great food, and an excellent selection of beer, it stood out as a beacon of good times and great hospitality. As we left, the memory of that night lingered, not just as a prelude to a great game of football, but as an experience that we'd recommend to anyone looking for a slice of joy in the city. Brits Pub scored a touchdown in our books, and we can't wait to return.

Accommodating to large random no reservation group?? A+ That's a challenge for any restaurant but Brit's kept a stiff upper lip and gave us a nice place upstairs. We were given a generous amount of time to peruse the menu which is worse because of all the banter that takes place while we casually consider food options. The food was brought it all at once, piping hot and fresh; no easy feat for the 12+ dishes we had and we were seated upstairs too. A few of us ordered drinks too, and that was lovely. Some sort of chocolate lager, a delicious cocktail. The only drawback was that our server seldom came back and it was prohibitively difficult to get more drinks. I can't help but wonder if that was deliberate because we were dressed up in cosplay and she probably didn't want to have a bunch of lit anime nerds getting rowdy upstairs. We would have been good, we promise! That said, when it was time for us to get our checks I was really surprised that there was no mandatory gratuity added on given the size of our party. Some people might consider that a kind of a nice perk. I tippped generously because dealing with a group that size is pretty cumbersome. I'm guessing a place like there's not going to be like Perkins that are patronized by the well-meaning but never tipping Sunday church crowd.

Started looking for a place with a terrace, but it was a little too windy on the roof, so ended up with a little walkaround inside and taking the table outside the main entrance. Okay, now the interior is very interesting, with a bunch of Britain-related stuff as you may've guessed, there are flags, soccer team pics, wooden decorative details and even this world-famous telephone booth (see pic). To be honest, the place does look a little worn, however, since the building is historic and old, and there is a million people visiting it a day (very busy location), I personally won't blame much on it. Beer selection. Now hear me out, I decided to try few authentic London beers; my first attempt was Boddington's, and that was a miss. It wasn't as carbonated as beer we used to drink and the flavor was little unusual too. Never giving up, my next shot was London Pride and it was on target. Again, it wasn't any similar to the most common beers we try, but this time it was simply amazing!! Definitely recommend! Conclusion is, selection is huge, try and find something exactly for you!

Needed a place to watch the Euros while visiting Minneapolis, and Brit’s exceeded our expectations. We showed up at the start of the 11am game and sat on the rooftop terrace since the main dining space was already full. Every seat had a view of at least one TV, and they played the audio of the match. Everyone there was engaged in the game, which made for a very fun experience. The waitress had a perfect level of attentiveness. They had a wide draft selection including two ciders, plus a selection of signature cocktails. The menu is just the right size. We loved our food, the Strongbow cider on tap, and the Brit’s lemonade cocktail. The appetizers are a bit pricey, especially compared to the entree and drink prices. When we were done eating, we went down to the lawn to watch the next game on the big screen. Such a great atmosphere across the board! This is an awesome place to catch a soccer game (or two), and we would be frequent visitors if we were local.

This restaurant is amazing. it has hands down the best French fries I've ever had. I had fish and chips. they were amazing. perfectly crispy and seasoned. my girlfriend and I got the 2 piece and it came with a basket of fries that was more than enough for us. the place is a little pricey but all around worth it. the atmosphere is beautiful with a UK feel all around. the water came without ice so if you want it, be sure to ask. I also got a 16 year scotch for $18. it was fantastic and smooth. if you like whiskey, this is the place for you. they had a front and back page of whiskey. everything from scotch to Irish to even Japanese whiskey we got scotch eggs. I personally liked everything about them except the price. $12 for 2 eggs cut in half. the food is well worth it. the bar was full of people watching a game and every goal was met with loud cheering. it really felt like I were in the UK the whole time. well worth a visit.

Thanks for the half tablespoon of gravy and couple cheese curds with the way too many French fries. It's an insult to the dish Poutine. Not worth the 16 + (included 4.5% tip) dollars I paid for this dish alone. I give it two stars cause usually they are pretty good? But I don't know how a waiter or kitchen staff could even consider letting this go out. The dining was extremely close table to table when there was a decent amount of tables open to not have people side to side (especially during cold/flu season). Like I said they are usually good, but I'd say this is more of a summer spot. The food is meh, but the summer rooftop seating makes It better. They also rarely change their menu or try to make it more exciting. Overall the wait staff is very friendly, and I know things get busy. They might have just had a bad night, but I've never been super excited or happy with the overpriced mid quality food here.
