April 2023 5* Visited the place with colleagues for dinner during weekdays. The place was not busy so you can easily find space. No need for reservations during weekdays. Really liked the decor and ambiance. Staff is very helpful and nice. However they are strict about kitchen timing so you can not get anything after 9:30 pm. Here is our food list: - Samosa ***** - Tandoori Tikka ***** (superb) - Malai Kofta ***** - Laccha Prantha ***** - Garlic Naan ***** - Mango Lassi ***** - Kheer ***** The place is accessible and restroom are clean and accessible for people with special needs.

One of our fave Indian spots in MN. We've tried many chicken dishes so far and our faves are: Kadaiwala, Chettinad, Josh, and vindaloo. All delicious. Staff at the restaurant are so friendly and accommodating despite being inundated with delivery orders. They don't have roti on Uber eats but sell it in the restaurant, so whenever we order I call to switch from naan to roti and they always do (thank you!! But also, please add to Uber eats menu! :) FYI - we've tried the Saint Louis Park location several times and it's nowhere near as good. We'll only go to downtown location now.

I go here quite often. I've brought multiple people who have never experienced Indian food and they've always walked away with a good experience. My go to is the Butter Chicken (Makhani) with Garlic Naan. If you can handle a little bit of spice, I'd recommend the Vindaloo. I recently had their dosa for the first time, and that was an equally good experience. I recommend linking your credit card to Groupon, because then you get 20% back. Eating Indian food in general, don't be afraid to use your hands and let the flavors mix around. Yum!

The 1 star that i had to give the owners and operators of the restaurant should consider themselves as fortunate enough to even get that. It was my first visit to this restaurant and I have been to Indian restaurants ranging from 1 star Michelin to some great Indian buffets but this restaurant was highly highly disappointing not only for an Indian but to any foodie across the board.

  1. I was here for the buffet and it was a mess. I wonder why didn't the health department rate it as a 'C' or a 'D' yet so they could shut this operation down doing the residents of this area a favor in return. There were only 10 items for the buffet and for a $ 17 price range incl tip you people could get a much better restaurant serving more items than this.
  2. The food was cold yes they did not even have the courtesy to serve hot food and it looked stale too. It was unnecessary greasy and oily.
  3. The side dishes on which the serving spoons were kept were horribly messy and dirty and were overflowing with all the curries. The least they could do was change the dishes from time to time.
  4. stay true to the food people. the '' bindi do pyaaza '' is supposed to be just okra and potatoes and NOT eggplant, bell peppers and tomatoes and i don't know what else was mixed in that and masked with tons of oil. The buffets were not filled some were half empty and the waiters could't care less about it as they were engaged in watching tv.
  5. ''chicken vindaloo'' was supposed to have chicken and JUST chicken in it but it had potatoes mixed in it. talk about cost cutting with a bang. If they are so broke that they couldn't even afford enough ingredients god knows what must they be doing at the back end in the kitchen. ( preparing the food at home the previous night to serve the next day). The curries were all runny ( couldn't afford cream i guess).
  6. the ''Naan'' is supposed to be served fresh out of the kitchen and not to be served in container. The ''onion pakora'' was so greasy and oily and '' SOGGY ''
  7. the kitchen cooks if there were any were so ' LAZY ' they couldn't even remove the cinnamon sticks from the rice pudding. You are not supposed to leave those sticks in the pudding MR. CHEF. The food quality was below 0 and everything on that buffet was stale.

Get your act together MR OWNER of the restaurant. You are humiliating LORD Ganesha after whom you have named the restaurant by serving low quality, cold and sub par food to...

The smells outside the restaurant Are amazing. The curry....perfect. The speed with which the water made it to my table....lightening fast

I can say....nothing else positive

I was at the restaurant on Sunday last....at 1245 The sign out front indicates Buffet 12 to 3

Upon entering I see a large number of people are just waiting for take out No dine in but myself 15 min wait to be seated Which seemed odd Again, the smells I endured the wait Water ...fast Then an eternity. (20 25 minutes) Passes before I'm approached Finally a drink order Meal order I'm now in the restaurant with 4 to 6 other people 35 minutes Later Their eating I'm don't with my drink almost

I ordered the chops 28.00

The curry....was excellent The rice From two days ago Reheated and dry The chops....3 of them Could all fit in the palm of my hand Bones and all They were so overcooked that I remember thinking This tastes like Jerky.

I ate enough to satisfy my hunger

Drank the rest of my beer. Paid and left

I under tipped on purpose And hand wrote on the receipt

The chops were grossly over cooked

I don't send meals back I just never go back

The service was well below par Disinterested clearly in being at work and as slow as it was That seemed to be an easy gig for Sunday midday

This location deserves a better run restaurant I can't help but think at least some people must be getting good service and great food

I didn't And you have all the money I will ever spend...

I walked past this restaurant for a couple years on the way to business meetings, this past Thursday I was hungry and had my wife along with me, so decided to drop in for a drink and an app. We get seated at a booth and place is absolutely dead, there were only two other people in the entire restaurant. So my wife and I sit down, and we wait, and wait, and wait... 15 minutes go by without even a water being brought, a "hey how is your day going", or anything. All the while the waiter is talking with a coworker at the bar, walking around, etc. After 20 minutes passes and being seemingly forgotten about, my wife and I got up and left without even being spoken to.

I've eaten in restaurants all over the world, from the east to the west coast in the US and to Argentina, Brasil, Uruguay, Germany, England, Mexico, Honduras, and so many other countries around the world, and I have NEVER in my life had that horrible of service. I was not only disappointed, but I was angry that my wife and I were treated so poorly. I will never ever set foot in this establishment again, and will be telling anyone who asks about it to stay away as well. The sad part about it, is that I love Indian cuisine and was really looking for a new spot, but this won't be it.

To any manager or owner who may read this, you may want to train your employees what the words "customer" and "service" mean, because I have no idea how you stay in business treating customers the way you...
