I make a simple request to have Butter on Both sides of my toast. I used to be an employee of a raising canes so I know that when you order this you are supposed to shout it out to the kitchen right away. She not only did not do that, but she didn’t even ring it in. When my food was up I asked her why it wasn’t rang in or shouted. She said the toast did have butter on both sides. I check and she literally lied. She purposely did not tell them my request and then when I had them make me new toast, she sends out 3 orders of people who ordered after me. Clearly they had toast. But she made me wait almost 10 minutes for 2 pieces of toast she promised would be ready in ā€œ2 minutesā€ and I straight up tell her I used to work at canes and I know she didn’t do her job correctly and she just shrugs her shoulders. Raising canes has the EASIEST POS System I have ever seen in my life so for her to not be able to do the BARE MINIMUM OF PRESSING A BUTTON?! maybe she shouldn’t be working there. It was an Asian girl. Either train her to do her job right or get rid of her. If you can’t press a button you don’t deserve to make $15 an hour. You deserve none. Completely pathetic that she can’t do her VERY SIMPLE...

Why did I hold out on ever trying Raising Cane’s?!?! I tried this for the first time this afternoon and here I am 7 hours later, still talking about this place to friends and loved ones. This experience blew me away. The staff at this location were amazing, the restaurant was exceptionally clean. The staff let me sample the Lemonade, instantly I became hooked. I’m excited to try the tea next visit. The chicken, wow! What flavor and not just the breading. Full on well balanced flavor. The Toast is out of this world. Melts in your mouth, go on and dip, baby dip! Dip, Baby Dip! That Cane sauce, you will want to get an extra order of that. The coleslaw was tasty, and the crinkle cut fries were fresh and just the right temp. I loved how the staff asked if I like coleslaw rather than just assume. We are a wasteful country. I happen to love Slaw. Good job crew, you all deserve a raise for going above and beyond. This is what service should be at all places. I will be back. Only request would be some rad mashed potatoes but if that meant the quality would go down with more add on’s, forget it. Thank you!!! I’m dreaming...mouth...

I first ate at a Raising Cane’s down in Texas. At first I didn’t get it but my nieces insisted we go there, so we did. Not much for options on this menu… it’s chicken strips, or chicken strips, or chicken strip sandwiches. They are really good chicken strips though. If you’re going to only offer one thing, you better be the best at that one thing and I think they nailed it. Plus, if you go to their website and read the story how everyone told the founder it would never work and denied him good grades in business school and bank loans to get started and to then go on to research further and see that last year this chain grossed 1.5 billion dollars, you can’t help be have respect for this chain and the founder.

Super friendly staff here… if you need to use the restroom, just ask a staff member for the door code.

My son is attending the U of M right here so this has become a convenient stop that no one complains about. If you’re in the area, have never had Cane’s chicken and remain skeptical, I recommend you give them a try. Don’t forget the...

Cane's always has great food. This location is very busy after MN United games. The floor was a mess and there were a few homeless people that came in and asked people to share their food. The people working there were nice. They made sure the homeless people left and didn't bother customers. Also, when people did share their food to stop being bothered the people working there would replace the food. Still love Cane's and it's great to have locations downtown. I would go there again. It was right next to the Green line light rail and a CVS across the street. The Cane's sauce is great and they gave extra napkins.
