I visited the new Minneapolis skyway location in the Capella Tower today for lunch and I honestly wasnât impressed. I think the marketing or menu is a bit of a turn off because it appears that there is an extra charge for so many things. For example I got the rice bowl so there is a $3.00 charge for that, then I pick my protein so there was an additional $8.90 charge for that, I get veggies added on at no cost, but then to get some type of sauce I am looking at another $1.50 charge for that and then adding Feta cheese is another $2.00 there too. Looking at that and seeing that everything is extra is kind of a turn off. It is like well what just comes with a standard order? It just doesnât appear that the pricing is very friendly to the customer. My food was alright but not something that I would typically spend over $15.00 on for a lunch which didnât include a drink or fries. My husband got a gyro and that was about $10.00 and it wasnât large it was pretty small in comparison to typical gyros. The experience was meh at best. I wouldnât plan on going back. I can say that if you want a great traditional Greek meal for a reasonable price go to the Trieste CafĂ©. They have much better options and pricing. The next place I would go to over the Naughty Greek would be the Greek Grill. Heck I would even go to Andreaâs pizza to get a gyro from them before going back to The Naughty Greek. Sorry, not sorry,...
Read moreFantastic Greek food in a quick order lunch style. If you've been to their St. Paul location, then this is a "lite" version of that with some of their most popular options.
You choose pita wrap, lettuce wrap, rice bowl or salad bowl and go from there. You pick your protein and add ins the same way you would at Roti or Naf Naf but with Mediterranean flavors.
I had the salad bowl with Lamb & Beef kabob and my wife had the Chicken Pita wrap and we split a "Naughty Fry". The best part of this place is the true Greek style fries which are covered in feta and greek seasoning. Having been to Greece several times I can attest to how close to the real deal the food is here.
Everything we've tried so far we've enjoyed. I would have given this a 5/5 but would have liked another kabob in the salad and maybe have it be more tender but those are minor complaints. The salad and fries were large enough that I have another...
Read moreToday I ordered the âGerman Dönerâ being German and coming from Germany I was excited that they had a döner on the menu. This was my first time in the restaurant. Service was great, the lemonade is on point â„ïž But the döner gyro meat was so dry, the pita was chewy/tough like a rubber band! No flavor whatsoever so every, everything had a separate flavor nothing flowed together ant all. I ate one half and tossed the other half. Fries were quit salty which was disappointing as well because I love that fry crunch! Disappointing, but if you want a good lemonade not to sweet with great flavor! Def worth stopping in as for the döner,...
