Original Tommy's — Restaurant in Monrovia

I used to love going to this Tommy's. There used to be bigger paper towel dispensers... There's now only one at the front. Perhaps they've been attacked one too many times from paper towel kleptomaniacs. You now have to ask for soda refills which takes time and requires extra interactions with the employees. They're really cheap on the chili on the burgers now. There used to be a distinct "layer" of chili within the chili burger. Now the layer is a smear on the burger patty and just a blob on the outside to make it "look" like there is a layer of chili. I guess everyone is cost cutting to make up for currency depreciation... But it's still sad. Tommy's in general uses it be much busier... Like in-n-out busy. Somewhere along they way they forgot to cater to a younger demographic. I suspect the lost entire Pokemon generation of kids who are now adults. A bit of a shame for us older Tommy's fans. I had to take off one star because of the shortcomings I mentioned at...

Went there last night, from the get go the woman with the dyed blonde just got on the mic and sounded annoyed, seriously if you hate your job so much quit!..... She sounded so unfriendly and like she did care I knew my order was going to be messed up. And sure enough it was. No, I want chili and cheese on it. After that she closes the window, and walks away like annoyed I'm there. They still give me a burger with just two patties, no cheese or chili. I ordered the two double California classic cheeseburgers in the amount of $5.70 each and I asked to make it a combo that should only be an additional charges of $6.10 for each combo. However I requested if I can have cheese fries. Suddenly I was charged an enormous total amount of $29.11. So I asked them how can They came up with that total while it stated in ur billboard $6.10 for additional fries and drink. Then they said because of the cheese fries. So I said forget it just make it a regular combo for $6.10 each. Then the total was still $24.11. So I said there’s only a little difference on the amount so just let it go and just do the 2 cheese fries. The cheese fries I was complaining about it because there were only a little cheese on top of the fries and they charged $4.60 for each fries.
