Sierra — Local services in Moorestown Township

The sales associate and manager are not properly educated with their merchandise and unaware of their situation. I was looking to purchase a fishing rod and reel combination and found one with a missing reel. No big deal because I liked the product anyway. I went to check out and asked if I could possibly get a discount because of the missing reel, so the sales associate called her manager. The manager looked at the product and said it does not come with a reel. I explained to her that it does because the product info says combo and had the specs and the reel was already prewired. She explained to me that combo just means it's a "2 piece" rod. Clearly, she has no idea and tries to divert my attention by telling me that the locking mechanism is very nice, which is very insulting. I politely told her that it was standard design. I guess to solidify her claim, she said, "She doesn't sell a rod and reel combo for just $14.99." I went back and took a picture of another product for $14.99 that wasn't missing a reel. Isn't the point of this store to sell products at a hugely discounted rate? Why would she make such false claims? This place is the Ross of outdoor travel gear, very hit or miss. You can find a nice shirt and pants at a great discount or nothing. I love getting packing cues here. There is Good selection and it varies time to time. You can find some really good deals for but you have to come and look through everything it takes quite a bit of time. Sierra always has the best treats and toys for dogs. My husband and I specifically come here for the type of chews & treats we want to buy her. Always a great selection.
