I've been here before and only had good experiences. Today the manager and person at the head of the line (unless that's the same person though I didn't get that impression), tried to be rather sneaky, changing the way she told the cashier to ring me up than to what I'd ordered but not telling me they were going to do so. I ordered nachos with the chips on the side. I've ordered this before with no issue. The lady said that that was a salad. I told her that it wasn't a salad I wanted but nachos as the salad doesn't have the cheese dip. She said "ok..." And made my dish as ordered and said they'd finish my food. So the next person did. He actually did better than I've ever seen before, he made it so pretty!! Kudos to him (the only guy on the line at 11:30am today). I get to the line and go to pay and the gal beside the cashier says quietly "side of cheese dip". I figured it was a misunderstanding so just said oh no side of cheese dip. This is just nachos. I just got the chips on the side." The chip gal then said "well chips are free anyway. This is how my manager asked me to do it." I told her I'd be happy to speak to the manager but that there must've been a misunderstanding and that I had ordered nachos. She went back into the back, came back out, didn't say anything, just took the dip back off the computer. I thanked her but she didn't say anything back. The cashier was very nice the whole time and obviously confused too. If I had even walked away from the first lady with the impression that thats how she intended to ring things up then maybe that'd have felt different but to be so sneaky about it? Over my wanting my chips not under everything getting soggy? Super weird and just sneaky....
Read more*I’m editing this review after speaking to a manager who was so kind and listened to my concerns. I will continue to visit this establishment. We love the food at Moe’s and have had only good service up until last nights event.
Tonight at 6:45 I completed an online order and was told it would be ready at 7pm. When I arrived at 7pm the order was not ready so I patiently waited along with 2 gentleman also waiting. I completely understand that times given are estimates but as I waited and watched people move through the line and get their orders I decided to inquire. The young lady at the cash register asked for my name and said they’d be working on it soon. 10 minutes later I saw my receipt still on the counter and they continued to move people through the line. I asked if it would be quicker to just get in line and if I could cancel my order. A lady came over and informed me in a very rude tone that they help customers in line first and they work on online orders when they can. The way she spoke to me led to another gentleman stepping forward and letting her know we were just inquiring and it would be helpful if they could have just let us know they are running behind. I have worked in customer service for over 24 years and have a high tolerance. I know how tough the service industry can be but there was absolutely no reason for her to speak to me the way she did. Read moreI haven't been to Moe's in a while so I stopped in with my daughter to get dinner. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. We placed our order and the girl that made the food was very accommodating. She made sure that we had everything that we wanted on each entree. When I was paying, I told the guy that I didn't know what my daughter was getting yet. He started to ring up my order, he looked over at the girl that was preparing the food and he named my daughter's food item and continued to ring up the order. He totals it out, I pay, then he says, "oh, you got three things? I didn't ring that one up, sorry." Anyway, I pay for that one too. It's really expensive. Three single items, one being a junior size and two small drinks came out to be over $30. We get home and start eating. My daughter says that the tofu in her dish was not firm like it usually is. She said it was mushy and not very good. I'm eating my food and I bite into, what I assume is a big chunk of cartilage from the chicken. Not pleasant.
