Someone had gifted me a Wendy’s gift card and so I went to the drive-through and my meal was a dollar over what I had on the gift card so I handed the drive-through cashier both my credit card and the gift card. Instead of trying to use the gift card she just swiped my card and I watched her do this and then handed both back to me and said I couldn’t figure out the gift card I don’t think it works. So I asked her, did you just charge everything on my credit card and not even swipe the actual gift card? Because if it doesn’t work, I need a refund on the gift card. It’s supposed to be worth something within their establishment. She proceeded to roll her eyes at me, shut the window without actually saying anything to grab her manager. At that point the manager didn’t even offer a refund on my credit card. she just handed me a receipt saying that the $15 does indeed, in fact exist on the gift card. and then the food was thrusted out the window towards me. I was nice the entire time I wasn’t rude or a Karen. I just decided to be the bigger person and ignore the rude treatment. A manager should be able to work more with customers but if that’s the way that she is I’m also sure that’s how she trained her employees. Bad experience...

But tonight we went and my son had a list of food we were getting because he figured up what everyone wanted and how much it would cost. We get up there, place our order (total is about $6-$7 more than he figured from online prices) and wait a few mins. We didn't think too much about the price difference because online prices usually differ anyway. I tell him just to check the receipt vs the online app and that's when we noticed why it was so high. He'd ordered 2 bacon double stacks but they charged and gave him 2 double baconators instead. So I tell him to call and let them know that they'd messed up on the order and what it was. NOW this is the reason I'm leaving the review.... during the call I hear her tell him he can bring them back up there and trade them in for the others and get the difference. I wanted to throw up hearing that! It made me wonder how many other orders they've messed up on and traded out prior. I always thought that fast food places weren't allowed to take back food once it's touched the customer's hands due to cross contamination and health violations. Then the cheese was not melted i asked why it was not melted and didn't look nothing like the picture she said it was a health code violation to put in microwave... well is it not a health code violation to take customers money and then go fix their food with out washing your hands or use gloves.....I said then why would you even offer this and not melt the cheese she walked away and went to the next of 14 people in line....I will never go back there even if I had to just get a drink or use rhe restroom.
