We've been here a few times now. I do like the look of the inside of this restaurant. It has kind of a Chic casualness. This visit the restaurant was not cold. Which was good. Previously I'd been there and it was so cold I was shivering. And I like things cool. This time it was just fine. Service was good. There's plenty of parking. Husband had the salmon which he enjoyed. I had the lemon chicken. It was super tender and juicy, though I might say that it was a bit on the salty side. I don't know if that was the sauce that was on it or if it was likely that the chicken breasts were marinated though I don't know that for sure. Or maybe it was a combination of both. But it was still enjoyable nonetheless. Though I would say they have a lot of sides that have up charges. My friend and my husband both ordered a different side which they didn't realize were an upcharge. I'm sure they just didn't pay attention to the menu. But it would be nice if sides were offered with the meal instead of charging extra for other options. All in all we would be back. This place gets very busy so get there early or be prepared to wait.

4.5 stars for 2 reasons: In regards to service, we had to wait 15 minutes during a slow lunch time to get served. Ten waiters walked by, and finally, Ysabela ( Bella), the bartender, saved the day. She deserves 5+ stars for her attentive and efficient service. Plus, she has a wonderful personality, so is a great asset to this restaurant. The second reason is the mashed potatoes were not the best: flat, flavorless, and gray looking. Refer to picture. Otherwise, we loved this place. The steak, shrimp, handbreaded chicken tenders were flavorful and perfectly cooked. My son said chicken tenders were some of the best he's had. I loved my crispy brussel sprouts, tasty and healthy! Bella fixed a very good Old Fashioned with a generous shot of Bourbon and with one big ice cube in the glass. We finished the excellent meal with one slice of strawberry shortcake, which was the healthiest of the dessert selection 😋. Atmosphere great, food great, and thanks to Bella, the service was great! We plan to visit again. Highly recommend!

Visiting this Longhorn establishment in Mount Dora, Florida, is an experience that impresses right from the moment you walk in. I was warmly welcomed by the manager, Glenn Evans III, who exhibited exceptional customer service by swiftly finding a table for my parents and brother, all while wearing a genuine smile despite the restaurant being packed. We were seated in the bustling bar area at a high top, which added to the lively atmosphere. Our lovely waitress, Heather, demonstrated impeccable service, effortlessly managing to follow up and clear our dishes with a positive attitude. It’s worth noting that the chef at this Longhorn location consistently cooks the meat to perfection, whether you prefer it medium, rare, medium, or well done. A big thank you to the chef and Glenn for another outstanding experience at this establishment. Whether you’re coming in for lunch or dinner, you can expect exceptional staff, great food, and wonderful hospitality. We will absolutely be back—five stars all the way!

⭐ Another Outstanding Visit to LongHorn Steakhouse! ⭐ We had such an incredible dining experience the other night at LongHorn Steakhouse that I had to write a second review. Original Review is below this one!

The food was absolutely phenomenal, but the real standout was our waiter Josh—funny, personable, and one of the best servers we've ever had. He joked with us, timed everything perfectly, and truly elevated our evening.

I ordered the 9 oz. Flo’s Filet® with a 4 oz. Lobster Tail, and wow—just wow. The filet was cooked to perfection and had that buttery, classic LongHorn flavor. I added sautéed onions and the Parmesan crust, which they draped over the onions and then sealed to the steak—such a clever and delicious touch. On the side, I had the Steakhouse Mac & Cheese—ultra creamy, with a rich four-cheese blend, smoked bacon, and that signature crunchy Parmesan breadcrumb topping. A house salad started things off right, and I always order a glass of Cabernet with my meal. Josh nailed the timing—the Bonanza Cabernet hit the table just seconds before the steak, and it paired perfectly.

My beautiful bride had the Lemon Garlic Chicken, which was flavorful yet light, finished with a housemade lemon garlic butter and a fire-grilled lemon. She also had a house salad and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts—tossed with smoky honey butter and addictively good. Her Mango Margarita was bright, refreshing, and definitely one to recommend.

From service to drinks to every bite of food, this visit was flawless. Hats off to Josh and the kitchen staff for delivering an experience worth repeating—and reviewing again!

Birthday Visit 04/09/2025 We had an outstanding dining experience at LongHorn Steakhouse! Our server, Johnny, was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.

I ordered the 6oz. Flo’s Filet with 4oz. Lobster topped with Parmesan Cheese Crust, along with 4ct. Redrock Grilled Shrimp, a garden salad, and a glass of red wine—every bite was absolutely delicious, and everything was cooked to perfection!

My wife had the Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. She also enjoyed the strawberry margarita, which she said was amazing!

The attention to detail was top-notch, and we really appreciated the QR code at the table for easy bill payment—such a convenient touch.

Highly recommend this location! We’ll...

Last night I ordered dinner for my grandfather and I after a long shift at work. I was beyond tired, hungry and was ready to go home- so to make a long story short I didn’t feel like cooking.

I ordered 2 12 oz Parmesan crusted ribeye steaks- one medium rare and the other medium well. So by the time I got back home and heated the food it would be exactly to our preference. Along with our steaks, we had side salads, bread/ butter and my beloved Brussels sprouts.

To say we enjoyed our meal is an understatement! My grandfather is very boujie, a picky eater and a chef himself. He enjoyed his meal so much, I overheard him on the phone bragging about how good it was!

Special thank you to the cook who prepared our steaks!!! Even after heating his steak in the microwave (he likes his food piping hot) he mentioned how juicy and tender it was! Even on my end, I had to microwave my food twice (I was busy and it got cold after reheating the first time) it was sooooo good! My steak ended up being well done since I reheated it twice and it was still very tender and juicy!

I was so full and beyond satisfied, I overslept this morning for church!

Initially I was going to call in to give the LongHorn Team kudos, but my grandfather told me a lot of times special messages aren’t always passed through. So to ensure y’all receive your amazing credit, I wanted to write a review.

Lastly, another special thank you to all the associates working last night. I saw y’all were very busy to say the least. You all handled everything beautiful from my observation. I’m unsure who the manager is, but y’all are an amazing team! Keep up the great service everyone...

My husband normally gives a place 3 tries before writing them off however after 2 bad experiences, he's turned off from Longhorn as a whole. I suggested he give another location a try for the 3rd time but he's too annoyed with the audacity.

First time we went was a Friday when they close at 11. We arrived around 915 and there was a family walking out and mentioned to us, "I wouldn't go in there, they're trying to close early so they're not taking anyone else". We tried our luck anyway and was RUDELY told there was a 2hr wait for a party of 3 even though half of the tables were empty. I understand they may have been short staffed but that seems kind of odd for a location that just opened and is seeing peak business before the novelty wears off.

2nd visit was in May for my dad's birthday. We had called periodically thru the day to try to get around the no reservation rule since we were a party of 8 with a baby. I get it, rules are rules so we did the call ahead they suggested so they would know we were coming. We arrived to be give a 4top table with 6 chairs around it and told that's the best they can do for our group of 8+highchair. They could've dragged a table up to a booth or even put it close to one and it would've been better than the "deal with it" attitude we were given about the table as the hostess stared at us like we were idiots for not understanding how we couldn't see 9 people sitting in 6 chairs like she clearly did.

I was so sad because I've been to Longhorn once before and it was a great experience. They must not want to...
