Tried this place for the first time today. Ordered a strawberry lemonade chiller and a chocolate shake. The person who took our order was visibly unhappy. She seemed annoyed and crabby. Didn’t return my greeting or smile, it was just awkward. I wouldn’t have really cared if it was just a normal drive through experience where the person is in a building, but to have someone come up to my car and be so annoyed and crabby right in my face was weird. I felt like I was bothering her, and I only ordered two very simple drinks.
When I drove around to pick up my order, loud music was blasting from speakers. I had to sit there listening to that in line for a few minutes. I was so over the whole transaction that I didn’t realize right away that the barista had made one of the drinks incorrectly.
I’m not sure if it was just an iced version of strawberry lemonade vs the chiller I ordered, but it tasted like fruit punch? Just sickly sweet and artificial. My husband tried it too and said it tasted like a bad version of fruit punch. Not good at all. The chocolate shake was icy, bland, and very sweet—sweetness was the dominant flavor, just not good. Read moreI’ve really been loving this coffee since I first tried it and had always been a hit and my usual go to. If you take a look at my account I literally used to stop everyday as it’s just so good! Unfortunately it hasn’t been the same lately, my coffee hasn’t been done correctly it always seems to be off not to mention the amount of time the staff takes to get you out of there. They’re sometimes friendly but lately during the evenings their music has been so loud they can’t even hear you when taking your order. Don’t get me wrong I love your drinks but I’m really considering taking a break as it hasn’t been the 7 brew experience we were introduced too. Also why does it take them more than 15 minutes to get your drink ready? On more than one occasion that I’ve been there they always empty out one lane quicker than the other and sometimes they’re all gone even after I was already there and still waiting on my drinks!! They really need to work on getting everybody out of there as they arrive in order, it just doesn’t seem fair to have to wait sooo long for an iced beverage and still be skipped! Read moreMy family loves 7Brew drinks, so when the half-price special ran on July 7, I was excited to branch out and try a 7 Fizz. I pulled into the drive-thru at 7:05 pm. The line already wrapped through the parking lot, but in the past long lines have moved quickly, so my daughter and I turned up the music and settled in.
Fast forward nearly an hour. At exactly 8:00 pm, an employee walked by and called out that the deal was over. I had already invested fifty-five minutes and was only a few cars from ordering. We stayed because by then we were parched and committed, but paying full price after such a wait left us feeling overlooked.
The cost difference is small. What stings is missing the promotion through no fault of our own. It would have felt fair, and frankly thoughtful, to honor the discount for everyone already in line at 8:00 pm. With so many team members outside, marking the cutoff point would have been easy and would have turned a frustrating wait into a story about great customer care.
I will be back because the drinks are worth it, yet I hope next time the service shows the same heart that goes...
