Hobby Lobby — Local services in Racine

My favorite store! I love hobby lobby! You can decorate your home with things that they have on sale and they always have good prices for the most part. From pictures for your walls to some furniture pieces like tables, other stuff like candles and an array of home decor. A huge floral area (not real but sure look like it) even succulents and wedding flowers! Then everything from yarn and fabric to paint brushes, paints and canvas. Not to mention their custom frame department! If you make your own jewelry there is always something on sale and if it is not on sale this week it will be next week. (usually that is the case with most of their stuff) A wide selection of Christmas crafts, trees and decor! I always get one or two Christmas decorations for each of my daughters every year so they can build their holiday decorations up for their children. it is so much fun and great prices! All their holiday stuff is always on saleat some point. But they do not do Halloween which is a bummer as I make a lot of crafts and this is a one stop shop store for me except for Halloween crafts. They have all the scrapbooks stuff you need. Resin crafts as well as my favorite vinyl for your cutting machine which I have a cricut and they sell them here too. Adorable picture frames for all occasions even for our furry family members! Always check out their clearance section when you are there as you never know what you may find! Dollhouse stuff, mosaic art stuff, aprons, tote bags and t-shirts for everyone in the family so get creative and go cricut crazy! Shopped at Hobby Lobby this morning, and usually I wont go and leave a review, but today..

I was attempting to buy a pillar that was in the 75% off isle, there were 5 of them. Everything in this aisle was 75% off.

It was smaller, but I liked it. Original price was $14.

Got up to the register and was told "no, that's not on sale". I said "there are multiple over there", she said "no that's on floral".

[This is the Manager BTW]

I said, yeah and it says home decor. Multiple signs. Multiple pillars.

She argued with me some more saying "this is furniture".

OK? I don't work here... Not only do I not work there.. there are multiple pillars in that isle, and it's a $14 item.

She says "we had flowers in this at one point, that's why it's over there". OK? There are MULTIPLE.

She said "well it isn't on sale".

I don't even care if it's on sale anymore. Now you are just being horrible at customer service.

She was rude. Didn't care if they misplaced items. Talked to me like I worked there.

I am a customer... Do better...

There is so many quality products that I love at your store & I'm so happy that I went through every aisle & discovered many products that I never would have guessed that Hobby Lobby sold for my home, such as beautiful door knobs. The absolute reason Hobby Lobby is such a treasure & pleasure, is your outstanding employees & they're fantastic customer service. I sincerely hope that you do recognize your wonderful employees & their outstanding professionalism & customer service & recognize, reward & pay them well.
