My dining experience at the Mediterranean restaurant was an absolute delight! The menu offered an enticing array of Mediterranean delights, and I couldn't resist trying a bit of everything. The Falafel was crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, a true vegetarian delight. The Shawerma was tender and perfectly seasoned, leaving my taste buds craving more. The selection of Kebabs - Lamb, Chicken, and Beef - were all cooked to perfection, with each bite bursting with mouthwatering flavors. Vegetarian options like the Veggie Hummus and Baba Ghannuj were equally delicious, and the freshness of the Tabouleh brought a refreshing balance to the meal. A standout dish for me was the Okra, a delightful surprise that added a unique twist to the overall experience. It was wonderfully spiced and cooked to just the right tenderness. The attentive and friendly staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable, offering helpful suggestions and ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our visit. If you're looking for an authentic taste of the Mediterranean, this restaurant is a must-visit. Each dish is crafted with love and care, bringing out the essence of traditional flavors that transport you straight to the heart of the Mediterranean. Whether you're a fan of meaty Kebabs or crave the goodness of vegetarian options, this restaurant has something to satisfy every palate. I left with a full heart and a satisfied stomach, and I can't wait to return for another flavorful journey to the...
Read moreThey have really upped their game. The food has always been delicious. Now with a coffee bar and the desserts it is amazing. Be prepared to wait, it is worth it. Since they expanded with the desserts and coffee bar, business is booming. There are a lot of new people working there and they are nice and trying very hard. Be patient with them as they get the hang of things , Even though you order coffee bar items and restaurant items together, they arrive separately. You collect the coffee bar items and they bring you restaurant items.
kebobs take 20 minutes to cook. If you can't wait that long, order shawarma.
I appreciate that dolmas and falafel are sold individually with a discount for bulk orders.
The tabouli is very good and green ( some places put too little parsley and too much wheat).
They have updated their decor and it is a lot nicer than before. It is less like a cafeteria and more like a cafe.
I love this place. Everything I have tried is tasty. The prices are reasonable. Fast food is so expensive, you are better off coming here. It will take a little longer, but you can't beat the quality or value.
The desserts are amazing. My favorite is the rose milk cake. I almost hate to say that because I hope there will always be a piece for me there.
They cater as well. Try all the desserts and all the drinks and all the foods. I...

Mediterranean Grill House 650 Castro St Ste 110 Mountain View, CA 94041
I went there for lunch around noon on a Friday. It's on Castro between Church and High School streets. There is street parking and an underground lot behind the Wells Fargo shared with St. Joseph Church. There is an order counter with a menu board above. I ordered the Lamb Kebab, medium rare, plate with Hummus and Garlic Potatoes. I was given a number stand to place at my table and waited a short time for my meal to be delivered along with 4 quarters of Pita bread and Tzatziki sauce. It's a clean table and chair interior for about 30 people. There is dining outside also.
My four large lamb cubes were mostly medium rare, lightly salted and with Mediterranean spices. The long grain rice was very good, soft and moist. The Hummus had good lemon and Tahini flavor and the garlic potatoes were soft and mildly flavored. The Pita bread was warm and soft.
Everything was delicious, quality was very good and quantity also, I took most of the bread and Hummus home. Service was prompt and helpful. Definitely repeatable. Your clothes and hair will acquire the grilled meat odors, the grill and dining area are not...
