Namastee Nepal Food Truck — Restaurant in Mountain View

This food quality and Taste has literally gone from 10/10 to -1/10. I used to think why this place is so slow and why business is not as it used to be for them every time I drive by el-camino real but today I got first hand experience. I have attached the review I posted 6 years ago when I had first posted the 5 star review for this place and then the food was later okish down the years but now the food is just not edible. We ordered Chicken Momo, Chicken Chili, Chicken Chowmein. Chicken Chowmein tasted bad and had a weird taste to it. We had to throw the whole food away. Chicken Momo had chewy rubber like taste and also filings had no taste of Chicken Keema at all. I make chicken momo at home so I know how Momo should taste and smell like. Chicken chili was the only part edible there. It also had a slight somewhat funny structure but we will see if that’s going to give us the answer the next day. But guys if you are hurting as a business owners please don’t take out the essence of food from the food itself. Do portion control or may be increase the price of some sort but the quality we got today not only ruined our dinner, it ruined our evening too. May be this was the last toll we could take from this place. Also will not be recommending this place to any of my friends and families. There are so many Nepali businesses out here that provide quality as well as authenticity. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 To the business owner dai, Dai Khana dherai namitho thyo haami aaja aauda. Paila jaile aaune garthe tara khana ko quality bistarai bigridai gaako huna le nai aauna banda gardai gaako thiyem tara aaja aaisake pachi ta kina gayem jastai vayo. Hajur haru ko business ma California aayeh dekhi aako thiye around 6/7 barsa agaadi dekhi tara khana ko quality ekdamai ghatdai gaako cha dai. Hopfully hajur haru le yah baata bistarai quality maarfat dhyan didai jaanu hola. Maile aru review haru maa ni tei dekhe khana baasi vaako jasto quality ghateko jasto. Tei vayera hajur lai saano jaankari...

Average+ option for indo chinese food.

We ordered veg Manchurian fried rice - quality and quantity of food was pretty good. Spice level was perfect and we enjoyed this dish. Can’t say it was authentic dish because there was something missing in taste but still it was good compared to other places I have tried.

veg Manchurian - I saw others reviews about this dish and decided to asked them to make it less oily and they did make it perfect dish. Compared to other places I didn’t enjoyed this dish very much but it’s ok. Taste 👅 wise I would give 3/5 stars because Manchurian balls were little uncooked or maybe I didn’t enjoyed them because they were little sticky and chewy. Quantity wise it was ok. Dish had about 6 to 7 Manchurian balls.

Maybe next time I will visit to try other veg...

The best indo-nepali-chinese food place in the Bay Area, with consistent quality, quantity and flavor. We have been ordering here for years now and have never had a negative experience.

Its not exactly a michelin star food, but its quick, no fuss and exactly what you need if you want something quick or reliable.

Really good at accommodating for glutten free veg fried rice to which we can add their chilli sauce and tamari sauce at home to get exactly the flavor we want.

If I could cook food like this at home, I would be having it for 4-5...
