My friend and I ordered Ice scream at this place and had a horrible experience on July 6. I get that it's summer and crazy but there's no excuse. There were more workers than customers around this time. We waited 10 mins to 15 mins which is quite long time for ice cream? Again I understand its a crazy time. However, my order was left on the counter melting becuase they weren't calling out names. I stood there the entire time. I asked if that was my order and no one can tell me. My friend's order never came and was only made when we said something. But my main complaint was one of the male workers was on his phone the entire time he was making someone's order. He would be mixing ice cream, then he would check his phone. One hand on the scoop the other on the phone swiping on social media. This was quite gross and unsanitary considering how much germs are on phones. I asked one of the female coworkers for a manager so I can bring the issue up but she couldnt tell me where the manager was. I then asked her to tell him to stop doing that but she covered for him saying he was texting the manager. He was smiling while swiping which I doubt was to his manager. The counter was also very dirty and no napkins available. There were 7 workers behind the counter and yet the place looked like a mess and orders took forever. The family behind us with little kids was also getting upset at how long their order took. I'm pretty sure it was their order being made by the guy...
Read moreThe ice cream pulled us into the store. Looks like an ok store to get some overpriced bulk candy, but the pricing for the ice cream is a bit misleading. The kids size ice cream cup is $4.85, but because of the font chosen for their signs, it appears to be $1.85. And the small cone is listed on the menu as $0.88. But that's an additional $0.88 on top of the $4.85. And now that I'm looking at my receipt, the $4.85 on the menu was still incorrect. A kids strawberry ice cream was $5.04 plus tax. And a Kids size cone is $5.04 plus $0.88 for the cone. Even though that's fairly expensive for ice cream, I understand it's a tourist trap and would've been somewhat ok with paying those prices had they been transparent. I also didn't like that ice cream with a topping and ice cream without a topping was the same price. I understand $5 for ice cream if you get a topping, but if you just want one scoop (kids size) with no toppings, it should cost less. Overall, the ice cream was not worth...
Read moreI went into this candy store 2 days ago and it was horrible. For starters, the candy sucked and you could tell it was old, the workers were so rude and arrogant they weren’t polite at all, and they charged us 50 DOLLARS FOR 2 BAGS OF CANDY. I left my bag from one of the shops in the store that I spent a lot of money on and I asked the worker if she saw it and could help me find it and she just said she didn’t see it in a rude tone and just stood at her desk and shook her head while we were looking. Then when we went to check out our candy she charged us 50 dollars and it’s not like we could put it back because it was in bags so it was a big scam. They weighed our candy and it was only 2 lbs and we got charged 50 dollars which is crazy so I thought she was saying 15 but she was being rude and yelling at us saying it was 50 dollars. The candy was not worth it and it kinda smelt bad in there....
