Michael's Pizza, Pasta and Grill — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

I was visiting Family in SC and my daughter wanted Pasta. We saw this place when we went to Ollie’s the day before. We figured we would try it out. I got the manicotti which tasted burnt and the noodles were hard. The salad that I got with my meal came out with onions on it that had brown spots. My grandson ordered a burger took one bite and couldn’t eat it, because the cheese had a funny taste. My daughter got the baked ziti. There was so much cheese on it you couldn’t even see the noodles. She had to take all the cheese off to find the noodles and they were over cooked. She did not eat it. My son in law for a cheesesteak and it was so salty he had a hard time eating it. I got a side order of meatballs and sausage. The sausage was mushy and the meatballs taste burnt. A gentleman came over to me and ask me how everything was. I told him all of my concerns and dissatisfaction and he said “ I’m sorry to hear that”. Our server came back and said they would take the cheesesteak off of the bill. I told him I literally just spent money on a meal that he took off of our table after only few bites of each dish were taken and took it back to throw it in the trash. I asked him who the gentleman was that came to ask how things were. Our server told us that it was one of the owners. I said wow that is disappointing that he is an Owner and all he can say to me was “ sorry to hear that”. Moral of the story... I spent money for a meal that we did not eat and did not take with us and all the owner can say is “ sorry to hear that. Well sorry to say I will never eat there again and will make sure none of my family and friends eat...

Friend recommended so gave it a try . Worst experience ever dining in the place and for that matter any place . My Waitress had zero personality and was very short with our group .. let’s start with she got order wrong and had to be called out about it which she had no empathy about as if i interrupted her.. let’s delve into the order which was downright disgusting .. ordered the crab stuffed shrimp over linguine which was $ 23.00. Per person . We placed two orders of that meal and two others placed a pizza order .. they waited approximately an hour to get a multi item pizza that failed to have any sauce on it and the dine in was not busy but the worst overall experience was my and my wife’s crab stuffed shrimp and linguini .. it was disgusting .. it was linguini in oil and the stuffing was a complete lie and deception of false advertising .. the stuffing had no crab at all in it.. it actually had ramen or angel hair pasta cut up too deceive as being crab. The stuffing was dissected by me and my wife and we came to the same conclusion that there was no crab and this place was deceiving us and other customers. I brought this to the waitresses attention and to my shock, there was no one in management on duty and available to address our complaints. Furthermore she did not care but stated she called her manager and advised us there’s nothing he could or would do to address these issues related deceptive food practices and wait time . I will never ever grace this pizza and pasta place again and I will warn others to do the same. Their food practices are unacceptable deceptive and downright disgusting....

This was our first time trying this place. We went Saturday afternoon around 2:00 for a late lunch. The service was horrible. Myself and my fiancé order drink. Him a sprite and I myself ask for a bud light bottle. The server brought him his drink and I wait 10 minutes on mine yet never received it so I got up went to the counter and asked for the beer myself. We ordered Pasta. He got the shrimp scampi and I got the stuffed shells. When we got our food I didn't get any silverware, so again I had to go to the front and ask for some. Not sure if the server was just having a hard day but it was kind of frustrating. Anyways our food was horrible. My stuffed shells were bland and full of grease it tasted horrible. His Shrimp scampi didn't take like scampi at all. Again it tasted like grease and very blane. The server came to our table and asked if everything was okay we told her about the food she looked at it seeing all the grease and said it looked nasty. She offered to get us something else or we could leave and she'd pay for our drinks. Being in customer service myself I refused to allow her to pay for our drinks and asked for a slice of pepperoni pizza. The pizza wasn't great. Definitely not NY style pizza. It honestly tasted like a lunchable pizza my children always get. We will not be returning but in the end the server did try to make up for the bad service. We still paid our bill as well as tipped.
