Horrible We went to order and waitress told us not to order that was it would be expensive. So she did it her way and ended up with a 55.00 meal which was biscuit and gravy 2 eggs and sausage. With a milk and tea. So we paid the bill and I ask to speak to the manager. I ask him how is this correct when I could get two eggs sausage for 6.99 and add biscuit and gravy for 2.19 and he said that’s his prices as his eyes were stuck looking in the air. He wasn’t American but his customer service was horrible. He had no interest in evening listening and I was being very polite. I have to much respect for myself to talk to someone who’s eyes are wondering in the air when I’m speaking So I stopped midsentence and said sir you’re not even listening to me. Never mind and I hope you improve yourself as a manager. Never ever ever ever ever will I go back. I use to come here often when I would visit. But never ever again. And beware of what you order because they will make your price go up and up. This is sad. It’s not about the money it’s the point of the matter. It should have us no more then 30.00. And by the way if you want to pay this much go to Mammy kitchen buffet breakfast. They never disappoint and I should have just went there instead of here. I know there google reviews they probably just look up in the air but with management like this it will be closed soon. This place is...
Read moreThis review is meant to be helpful feedback for the owner. My dad and I visited your restaurant for breakfast this week, and while there were some highlights, there are also areas for improvement.
First and foremost, the eggs Benedict was exceptional—the best we’ve had in Myrtle Beach. Also, the interaction with the birds at the entrance, added a unique charm to our visit.
However, we found the value for money lacking. The menu simply listed “eggs Benedict” without indicating that no sides, such as toast or hash browns, were included (that I noticed). This led to a surprise when our plates arrived with just the eggs Benedict. It would be beneficial if the menu clearly stated what is included with each dish. Furthermore, our waitress, although kind and attentive, did not inquire if we wanted to add any sides. This, coupled with the high bill, left us feeling dissatisfied.
Moreover, we observed what appeared to be bubbling and mold near the ceiling vents. This is concerning from a hygiene perspective and detracts from the otherwise pleasant dining environment.
We appreciate the quality of the food and the friendly service, but these issues prevented us from wanting to return during our stay and we ended up going...
Read moreWe recently visited Spring Garden Family Restaurant for breakfast, ordering Eggs Benedict without bacon, French Toast with bacon and home fries, a regular coffee, and an iced coffee. Unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory.
The Eggs Benedict initially came out incorrect and had to be sent back. When it was returned, the bread underneath was mushy and unappealing. The French Toast, bacon, and home fries were satisfactory, but the iced coffee was more a milkshake than a coffee.
Despite the restaurant not being busy, our waitress appeared stressed, which i cannot blame her only visiting this place once. You never now how her day was, every one has a bad day.
But at around $45, the total cost felt steep considering the issues with our meal. The quality and execution did not match the price paid. Overall, while some aspects of the meal were decent, the experience didn’t justify the cost.
Additionally, the restaurant had two birds in small cages at the entrance. The waitress said they stay in those cages all the time and are not let out, though she assured us they are well taken care of. This made me feel bad for the birds, as it didn't seem like a suitable...
