This was my first time there with family. I'll let you know ahead of time that I'm lactose intolerant. Somehow, that baffles a lot of people. I always tell the staff when I order, which I did so here. I ordered the meat lovers omelette with no cheese. It came with grits and toast or with pancakes, or swap those for potatoes at an upcharge. Food came out pretty quick, however my grits had a puddle of what looked like butter in the center and the toast also had butter on it which I asked for without "butter". I asked about it, the manager or owner overheard and said our grits have milk in them. What?! I have eaten grits many places and have never known them to have milk in them when they're served. So, i was forced to take the potatoes which must have already been made because they were out to me in under a minute. They didn't have a very pleasant taste to them, and they were very bland. The omelette was okay, it wasnt hot, but warm. It was full of ham, bacon and sausage and was cooked about normal. Oh yeah, my toast, I had to ask for it three or four times before I finally received it, even after asking the manager for it. I doubt I'll be back when visiting MB again. Usually mom and pop restaurants are better at service and food, but I've had better food and service from chain restaurants, which really shocks me. I finished and went to pay. I was never compensated for the mess up and the lady at the counter then proceeded to charge me the credit card fee even though I was paying with cash! I caught it and she seemed upset by my mentioning of it. Then, when I received my change, she still didn't give me enough back. I cant recommend this place.
One thing to note: many places here in Myrtle Beach just pass on the credit card fees to the customer, so be prepared to pay that...
Read moreFirst off, if you are a big breakfast lover just as much as I am you’ll definitely want to visit this pancake house. We literally when there twice and it was so worth it while we were staying there. The staff was amazing and very accommodating to our needs, especially for sugar free condiments. Very clean too and lovely.
On our first day I had the strawberry pancakes with two eggs and bacon. We ordered a bowl of potatoes but shared it since we got full pretty quick with our meals. The strawberries were very fresh, bacon crispy just how I like it and the eggs very fluffy. Now this is just me, but, if you love ketchup and eggs, put them together and you won’t regret the wonderful taste. Also ordered tea before we got our meal because the pollen was killing my sinuses that day and god bless for that tea I felt so much better and it was definitely very soothing for my sinuses and delicious to the taste.
The second time we went my mom and I definitely needed to try their French toast. The powdered sugar was very light and the French toast itself was very fluffy but still had its crispy edges to match the wonderful taste. Mind you, we ordered the potatoes, again! 😂 These potatoes are no joke when it comes down to the taste and it’s crispness. This time I had cranberry juice which was really refreshing especially on a hot day.
We really really had a great time going here. If I ever come back to visit Myrtle beach again, definitely swinging by here for breakfast and to try more things they have on...
Read moreThis was my first n last time eating here. It took bout an hour to get our food. When it came out, all didnt come with our order and everything was all mixed up. So we told the waitress we were missing items, we nvr got utensils, still waiting on our drinks. She said to us that we were 'killing her' and she got an attitude and walked off! We ask'd for a manager and basically the mgr didnt want to hear wht we had to say and sided with the waitress. It wasnt our fault tht it took an hour to get our food, the food items were all mixed up, no drinks, no utensils.... I will NEVER attempt to eat thre again!! Thank you MANAGEMENT for your response! Like i said i will never eat here again. Reason we cashed out was becuase the food was not correct and the waitress was horrible! We ask for plastic products to drink and eat out of, what was the big deal about that, that shud have not taken the much time it did to receive those items! How can other patrons speak for the services that we received when they were not the ones receiving it, REALLY! If your waitress couldn't handle our table (like she said we were killing her), as a manager, you should have assigned someone else to our table! oh I forgot, you assigned yourself, and YOU still got everything wrong!! But hats off to you as a manager! Yes Myrtle Beach has alot of establishments to offer for breakfast/lunch/dinner and trust me, we gladly spent our money else where other than your...
