Hi!!!! I’ve lived in Nashville since I was 2, and I’m always on the hunt for exciting new places to explore. My boyfriend planned a surprise date today, and after our adventure, we decided to check out somewhere new. That’s how we stumbled across Bad Axe. At first, we weren’t sure about throwing axes, but we decided to give it a shot, and I’m so glad we did!
We went during the day, so it wasn’t too crowded, but it was still such an incredible experience. And honestly, the highlight of our time there was Kyle. He was our server and instructor, and let me tell you,he is an absolute rockstar! From the moment we met him, he made us feel so comfortable and welcome. He patiently taught us how to throw, explained all the rules, and even introduced us to a bunch of fun games to keep things interesting.
I’m a super chatty and personable person, and I love striking up conversations wherever I go. Usually, in Nashville, servers don’t really engage much, but Kyle was different. Not only did he keep the conversation going, but he also genuinely connected with us. He was so kind, attentive, and warm, it’s people like him who make Nashville feel like home all over again.
If you’re thinking about trying Bad Axe, stop thinking and just GO! It’s such a fun and unique experience, and if you’re lucky enough to have Kyle as your server, your day will be made. Make sure to tip him big, he absolutely deserves it. Kyle, if you’re reading this, thank you for...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Bad Axe, the axe throwing bar in Nashville, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with exceptional service that truly set the tone for the evening. The staff at Bad Axe, especially coach Mia, went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Mia, our coach, was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and encouraging, making sure everyone in our group had a fantastic time. Her expertise and enthusiasm added a whole new level of excitement to the experience.
The atmosphere at Bad Axe was vibrant and energetic, creating the perfect backdrop for a night of fun and friendly competition. The staff’s attention to safety and their willingness to assist beginners like myself made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
I can’t recommend Bad Axe enough, not just for the thrill of axe throwing but also for the outstanding service provided by the staff, particularly coach Mia. Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced axe thrower, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back and try my hand at axe throwing again, all thanks to the amazing...
Read moreThe food was subpar, the service was also subpar. The staff were very lax, and didn’t seem as if they wanted to be there. The bartender seemed distracted, and wasn’t very attentive, and had to ask me twice on what beer she served me, because she forgot when she was trying to create a tab for me. I honestly wouldn’t go there again. I didn’t feel valued as a customer. Oh, and also the “fruit water” they had hanging out at the end of the bar in a jug was disgusting, and the spigot kept getting jammed because of the raspberries floating to the bottom and getting stuck. Overall, not the best experience for a first time visit. I don’t know why it was rated number-one for bachelorette parties, either, but they must be really bored or beyond wasted out of their minds to realize where they are. I won’t be going there again. Not worth driving almost 30 minutes from the other side of town to spend my...
