I've never written a review before this point, but I felt the need to write this for two reasons, one because this was the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant and two because I've been in the restaurant industry and if I owned this restaurant I would want to know these issues. Unless the owner decides to switch management and train their front of house staff or change them out, I do not recommend wasting your time at this restaurant.
It was a 30 min wait for a party of 2, that's going to be many places around here so not a big deal, but what they don't tell you when you put your name in is that you can only sit outside or at the bar, tables are reservation only. That is ok, but they should let their customers know up front. After waiting 30 min, which they were very accurate about how long the wait would be, they sat us outside in the alleyway. It was cold so we asked if we could wait for a table inside and they said no, walk ins are only bar and outside. Ok, can we wait for the bar and give this table up? The hostess said no in a fairly aggressive tone. At this point, my boyfreind asked to talk to a manager who happened to be right behind us and he agreed, no. I decided I wanted to try it anyway though I thought that was odd that we couldn't give up our table and wait.
The waitress seemed very nice, we were able to order after about 10 min of waiting for her to come over and bring water, but we waited 30 more minutes and never got our coffees, though the people who sat long after us got theirs. When I asked the waitress if our drinks were coming out soon she said yes we've been busy. I can understand if you're busy, but why did a new table get drinks before our table?
My boyfriend had left a 1 star review at this point though I would have waited because the food might have been great, even though so far the service was awful, we didn't know yet. The manager comes over and says he saw the one star review and said I'm sorry you feel that way. For a busy restaurant, I don't know why the manager is looking for reviews instead of helping his staff who is clearly struggling to keep up and then coming over to intimidate customers. I had been pleasant and fairly quiet for the full interaction, but at this point, I had to mention to him that it was odd that we couldn't give up our table to wait for the bar. He said it isn't fair to other people and they sent out 12 texts already letting them know they had bar seats when we asked. Well, first off the text doesn't tell you bar or outside, I got one remember? Secondly, there were no bar seats open so you definitely didn't send out 12 messages at that point to say they get the bar seats. Why lie? You can apologize, you can say maybe we should have done things differently, or you could just not come back over because we hadn't made a scene. But the manager decides to lie and say we were being unfair to the other customers letting someone have our table. Just very odd.
I left after not getting drinks for 30 min and that 2nd interaction with the manager so I can't critique the food, I was hoping to try it but eventually I'd had enough. We went to snooze, which also ended up taking a while for the food because of an issue in the kitchen but the food was great, the service was excellent, left a fat tip, and we were happy we didn't give a dime to two hands in the end. Do yourselves a favor and go to snooze or even biscuit love because the super long line at biscuit love looks intimidating but you'll eat just as quick if not faster because of their efficiency and great staff. My advice to the owner, either train your staff or clean house. This is a customer service business so hire people who understand...

Our party of five had a truly regrettable dining experience at Two Hands Nashville. While the appetizers were passable – the only redeeming quality of the entire meal – everything went downhill faster than a runaway train from that point on.
The main courses were an absolute disaster. Three of us ordered steaks, and each one arrived at the table stone cold. The accompanying fries were equally frigid. Beyond the temperature, the steaks themselves were shockingly poor quality – tough and rubbery, making each bite a laborious chore. To add insult to injury, one steak ordered medium-well was served medium.
The other two dishes in our party were reportedly "okay," which in this context feels like a glowing endorsement. However, the agonizing 45-minute wait for our entrees to arrive soured any potential enjoyment.
The saga of the improperly cooked steak deserves its own paragraph. After sending the medium steak back (when it should have been medium-well), we waited a further 20 minutes before having to inquire about its whereabouts. Apparently, it had been completely forgotten. The replacement steak, when it finally arrived, was – you guessed it – also improperly cooked.
Their attempt at compensation was frankly insulting. They offered us a single, undercooked brownie to share amongst five people – a dessert none of us even wanted. While they did remove one appetizer and the inedible steak from the bill, the remaining charges still felt exorbitant for the truly awful food and abysmal service we endured.
When a member of our party declared they would have preferred a meal from White Castle over the steak they were served, it speaks volumes. Save your money and your appetite. There are countless other restaurants in Nashville that offer a far superior dining experience. We will certainly not be returning to Two...
Read moreI made a reservation well in advance because of the reviews and the size of our group. I was able to secure a table for 12 on a Friday for brunch. THs is within walking distance of the JW hotel and near some fun shopping. We were sat to the left of the front door at one long table near the window and this worked out so perfectly! plenty of space and lovely little corner to ourselves. Patrick was our server and he was amazing! He was on top of all our orders and kept the beverages and food flowing. We started with cocktails and cafes of mimosas - delish. The Boozy Lavender Lemonade - divine! We ordered two crispy chili fries for the table and they got demolished instantly. I think we ordered a third lol slightly spicy shoe string fries.. yum! I had the TH Seasonal Scramble - It was beautiful and delish! If you are a cilantro lover - the cilantro salad on top was perfection. Hubby got the chicken bowl and because I kept taking bites off his plate, I can attest that it was also, delicious. I also tried my sister's chicken schnitzel roll and I was instantly jealous - so good. Other items at the table that were enjoyed: miso mushroom bowl, lemon poppy seed waffle, a build your breakfast, smashed avo toast, and the burger. We ordered a side of eggs and steak for our kiddos and they split them btw two plates and our kids devoured it.
Also, while waiting for the restroom I noticed they had candles for sale. I was intrigued and sniffed one. Huge mistake on my part because I had to tote a candle around with me the rest of the afternoon! lol Lovely smell! Definitely get it!
From start to finish, our experience at Two Hands was top notch. Great service, amazing food, beautiful cocktails, and a lovely ambiance. Would absolutely come back and highly recommend! Make...
