Used to be my favorite restaurant until yesterday. The food is delicious and for the most part everyone is amazing. The reason I can no longer recommend Bricktops is due to the defamation of charter I received from the General Manger John yesterday. The food is almost always amazing but the last couple of times out of the hundreds of times I had to take the food back due to over cooked meatloaf and over cooked slimy steak. While sitting at the bar the general manger comes storming over to me and my client, points his finger in my face and loudly says, YOU ALWAYS take your food back and NEVER pay for anything. Which couldn’t be the furthest from true because we always eat there and love it. He then proceeds to yell across the bar to his bartender and says doesn’t she always take her food back?!?! She Aubrey says YES!! Twice!! I was completely berated, disrespected and most of all embarrassed. After spending thousands and thousands of dollars with this restaurant and truly enjoying myself there, this experience has caused me to have a nervous breakdown. I went to the bathroom and just broke down, I do thank the wonderful waitress who helped me in the restroom. I have on recording the other guest at the restaurant saying how could a general manager cause harm to a customer for all the restaurant to see but most importantly cause mental harm to me. It was completely disrespectful and the General Manger and the waitress should have action taken by corporate. If there was any issue about the food going back to the kitchen, talking to me in private to understand why would of been the best respectful thing to do. You can not fault me for your poor delivery on the meal sent it. I do thank the bar manager Joseph for talking with me after, he was awesome but unfortunately the internal damage has already been done. I have to heal from this experience, it has caused me sever anxiety and people need to understand that you speak to someone can highly impact their mental quality of health. I will not be bullied by Bricktops General Manger and...
Read moreOne of my favorite places to eat! However, tonight’s service fell extremely short. Tonight we decided to be on the wild side and sit at the bar. Working in this industry (bartender & server) sometimes you want to just sit at a table. But we wanted the more personal and open conversation space. Our server tonight was Lawrence & he was well. Not very attentive throughout the service. No check in after our food got dropped off or refill on waters without asking. Even when I arrived after my party, I had to call him over to even place my appetizer. Also the demeanor from Danielle wasn’t very pleasant either. It seemed as if no servers behind the bar smiles. If they smiled it definitely wasn’t given to ALL customers at the bar. However, Maurice came into the bar area at the end of our night with a smile and asked us how our day was and grabbed our finished plates. The most pleasant and nearly only one that even welcomed us with a smile. The food runners/servers that even brought us our food didn’t even say what entrees where nor spoke really. Literally just stared at us.
We started off with an order of spinach and artichoke dip & the yum yum sushi roll! The sushi rolll was to die for!! It was so good and I normally just eat one piece of a roll but this was WONDERFUL ! I highly recommend that if you like sushi. The spinach on the other hand wasn’t really good. It was as if the spinach wasn’t as fresh before cooked. For dinner I ordered the chicken Milanese with creamy whipped mashed potatoes & it was pretty good overall. The Parmesan crust was a bit overpowering the champagne blanc sauce. I def recommend drinking a wine with this meal to balance it out!
Service at the tables are a lot better, in my opinion. Disappointed in the...
Read moreFirst, I want to share that I am a born and raised Nashville, Tennessee native. I frequently go to Bricktops every weekend and sometimes through the week . I have found it absolutely outstanding how professional and kind the staff are and extremely accommodating. This starts with the wonderful management in running the facility and I have had direct contact with the CEO/ COO Mr Tony who is absolutely amazing and he even tolerates our somewhat loud Harley Davidsons.(lol). Then , there is Mr John Perkinson, General Manager in Nashville location who is always friendly resting customers with a smile and kind words. Always with a crisp shirt, fresh cut and willing to answer any questions/problems. I had a death in my family last year and with many unexpected family members in town, I had to bring them to Bricktops and family from Indiana, Ohio and Chicago, they were absolutely flooded and loved the food, atmosphere and the staff, always so kind. It was Mr John that jumped in and after hearing our circumstance of gathering, he made it all work. He was very kind to my extended family and brought a few smiles on our faces. The bartenders are far beyond phenomenal and very fun, yet, professional. If you haven't been, you better try it. Brunch is simply fun and amazing. I want to close by thanking Mr John Perkinson, GM and Mr Tony CEO/ COO...one of those titles ( please forgive my error).for the way you treat your customers and the way you run your establishment.
