So I was tempted to give this place three stars because I'm a gentleman scholar. And then when I reflected at the price to deliciousness ratio I changed my mind. Plus my wife thinks it's a two-star establishment so there's that. So one nice thing I will say is before the lady rang up the premade jalapeno margarita is she let us know that the drink was $20 and if that was okay. One thing that they could have easily done to actually make this pizza better is to reheat it. I've been to plenty of places that are pizza by the slice that simply just throw your pizza back into the oven for a few minutes and it comes out with a crispy crust and hot cheese. I think if they had done that then they might have learned that extra star out of me. My wife also thought the pizza was really salty. Which means it probably was and it actually helped me enjoy it more since I tend to over-salt my food. There's not much else to say about this place because it's your typical Cuisine you would expect at a theme park where they know there have their guests relatively captive and have limited options. I didn't expect the staff there to care or even pretend to offer good service and I was correct. As far as the pizza itself goes they only had four premade options when we got there. Cheese, pepperoni, three meat, and supreme combo looking thing. All the pizza is thin crust as well but it will probably feel super thin when you eat it because it will have been sitting there for some time and will not be crispy at all. It might be warm if you're lucky but the crust will definitely absorb some of the moisture from the cheese making it a big floppy mess. This was the first place we ate at while we stayed here for two days so I don't know how it compares to your other choices but we figured you couldn't go that wrong with pizza. So the end on a positive note I will say this is not the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire life. But if you really love pizza this probably will be disappointing. Oh I guess I didn't end on a positive...
Read moreOverall Rating: 2.8/10 While the location within the Gaylord's resort offers an impressive dining environment, the actual service and food quality do not live up to the scenic surroundings.
Atmosphere: 9.2/10 The restaurant benefits from its stunning location within the Gaylord’s resort, boasting clean, spacious interiors that create an amazing dining experience. The ambiance is well-suited for a high-end resort setting, adding significant value to the atmosphere.
Service: 4.9/10 Service was minimal, primarily limited to order taking, with no additional engagement needed. While the staff maintained clean tables and provided quick service, their demeanor was noted as nice but lacking in friendliness, which could have enhanced the dining experience.
Food:
Cheese Pizza Slice: 2.9/10 The cheese pizza, priced at $6, did not meet expectations in terms of flavor. While the slice was crispy and of decent size, indicating good initial quality, the taste was disappointingly bland. The sauce failed to stand out, overshadowed by an unappealing blend of bland oil and cheese flavors, making the cost feel unjustified.
Value 2.2/10 Given the location and the quality of the surroundings, the expectations for food quality were higher. The pizza, although served in a premium environment, did not deliver on taste and was not seen as good value for money, especially considering the...
Read moreMy experience here was poor in both quality and service. I purchased a gluten-free pizza on October 26, 2023. I was handed a buzzer and was told to pick up my pizza from the window when the buzzer went off. Thirty minutes later the buzzer had still not gone off and the server shouted out the window to pick up my box. I opened the box and the pizza looked good at first glance, but then I learned the truth. By then the pizza was already getting cold. I have been eating GF pizzas for more than 20 years. Some from skilled pizzerias, grocery stores, and Costco. The pizza here was by far the worst I have ever had in my entire life. The crust was a rubbery, chewy, and tasteless wafer. The slices weren't cut through and it was a challenge to finish cutting them because the crust was so tough and all they had were plastic knives. It was not possible to pick up a slice either because it was glued to the cardboard box and was flimsy like a deflated balloon. $20.73 wasted. I threw my pizza in the trash and left the resort to find some real food. Avoid this place if you...
