We had dinner reservations here on Friday night. We were down on the west end of town and looking for something new and different and after reading reviews my boyfriend made Reservations on open table. We arrived at 8pm just in time for our Reservations. When we arrived the bar was busy and there were a lot of parties waiting outside but there were about 15 open tables. We decided to get a couple of drinks at the bar. They were listed on the menu at $13 a pc. When the check came the total was $32.00. Not sure how that added up but he went with it and left a tip making the total close to $40 for two less than mediocre drinks. I could not finish my old fashioned and I am an old fashioned type girl. Typically have at least 2 to 3 during dinner and after. We requested to sit outside due to the great weather for the night. After about 10 minutes from being seated the host came out to seat another table and could see that I was irritated and ask if everything was OK. I said just waiting to see our server. About 5 minutes later. Gracie showed up with some luke warm water, poured it in our glasses, and asked if we were ready to order. No acknowledgement that we had waited and there were other tables sat after us that had already been greeted. We ordered falafel and when it came out it was dry, lack any real flavor, and was just not good. She then came over to drop off another appetizer of whipped feta and only said "we appreciate your patience ", the whipped feta was delicious. He ordered tuna and it came out with 5 pc of tuna over some type of cold beans that did not have flavor. He ordered a side of rice and the seasoning on it was some sort of pumpkin spice or nutmeg. I ordered skirt steak medium and my steak came out more like well done. Definitely no pink left on it at all. We never saw our server again until time to leave. I told her that I needed a box for my 32.00 steak. He said we were ready to cash out. She was gone for quiet some time and came back with the check and started busing the table amd asked me if I wanted her to box my steak up. She then took the check, credit card, and my steak from the table to box it up. She was gone this time for closer to 15 minutes as I had time to use the restroom and return and she still had not returned with our card or the box of left overs. When she returned she sat everything down and walked away. This is the first time in our 10 years of being together that I felt like a 15% tip was way to much for the services we received and the price we paid for that service. We are a typical 25-35% tipper. But with the service, quality of food, and overall experience I was questioning the 15% tip that she still received. He owns his own business and would want to know if his customers were as disappointed in his employees customer service as much as we were in our service last night. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because of the atmosphere and the whipped feta that we didn't even order was actually the highlight of the whole...
Read moreI would like to open by saying I really wanted to like this place. Got Fri night reservations through OpenTable for 8pm. Our table wasn't ready so we went to the bar and ordered an old fashioned and a whiskey sour. Ticket was 32$ before tip, not sure how that math worked on two 13$ drinks but I let it slide as they were very busy it was just a couple bucks. Both drinks were low quality. The sour tasted like melted ice in lemonade, no spirit flavor at all. The old fashioned was overpowered by bitters, almost unpleasant to drink. We were seated outside at a high top, weather was great and the ambiance was really nice. We waited around 10 minutes before the host came around and asked if we needed anything, we advised we hadnt seen a server yet. Our server, Gracie G came out a couple minutes later. She poured some room temperature water in our glasses and asked if we were ready to order. I had expected a "sorry for your wait" or at least some reference to being busy. We found her quite short, almost aggravated at having to serve our table. We ordered Falafel, Tuna, and skirt steak. The falafel was not good, it was overdone and poorly seasoned. Gracie then brought out a complementary whipped feta appetizer, she sat it on our table and said "we appreciate your patience". This was the only acknowledgement of a poor experience all night. It was a nice touch, I suspect the host had it sent and it was absolutely fantastic! Definitely the highlight of our meal. The tuna came in 5 slices on a bed of white beans, estimated to be a 3oz portion served rare. The fish was flavorful but half of the portion had fatty tough marbling that made it difficult to enjoy. The skirt steak was a larger portion, estimated 6oz cooked medium. It was average flavor, the cook and appearance were ok. We asked for a container to go after finishing our meal, it took 9 minutes to bring it and our check. We are sympathetic to staffing shortages and the stress of those who pick up the slack. At this price point there is no excuse for a poor attitude and overall lack of interest in customer experience from wait staff. Overall we were very disappointed in the service and food, would not...

From the moment you step inside, you are welcomed by an environment that effortlessly blends elegance with a cozy, inviting vibe. The decor is a masterpiece in itself—high ceilings adorned with beautiful chandeliers, rustic wooden accents, and a chic bar that glows warmly under soft, ambient lighting. Every detail, from the lush greenery to the carefully chosen table settings, creates an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and serene, making it the perfect spot for a special meal or a casual gathering.
The highlight of my visit was the lamb kabob with basmati rice, tzatziki, and harissa sauce—a dish that was nothing short of perfection. The lamb was cooked to tender, juicy excellence, with a delicate char that added a smoky depth to each bite. Paired with the fluffy, fragrant basmati rice, the flavors melded beautifully with the cool, creamy tzatziki and the vibrant kick of the harissa sauce. This dish is a testament to Sadie’s commitment to quality and authenticity, and it truly captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine.
To end the meal on a high note, I indulged in the strawberry sorbet, beautifully garnished with fresh strawberries and delicate edible flowers. This dessert was a refreshing burst of flavor—light, fruity, and perfectly sweetened. The addition of the edible flowers not only enhanced the presentation but also added a subtle, floral nuance that complemented the strawberries wonderfully. It was a delightful and elegant way to conclude the dining experience.
A special thank you to my lovely and polite server, Disa, whose warm and attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable.
