The Grove by AvantStay — Hotel in Nashville-Davidson

We were a group of 4 women with the eldest being 80 years old. Between Sonders and VRBO our room reservation with 4 beds and 4 baths was double booked with 2 different guests under the same confirmation number. The room was than canceled because of this and meant our place also was canceled, with us almost to the destination not knowing we did not have a place to stay!! We had already driven almost 12 hours when we found this out! Sonders and VRBO blamed each other saying they have never had this problem before! Of course we were angry and tried to rebook the Sonders lodging just for them to reject us as guests!! We have never been treated like this ever before by a place to stay! They rejected 4 of our requests to rebook that place. Unbelievable!! So we had to work with the VRBO to help us in our desperation in finding somewhere for all us. Although no one found us a place for the 5 days we needed lodging I will have to say the VRBO came through for us and got us 2 rooms free for the first night we were at our destination!! We truly appreciated there help, at least they tried, way more than I can say for Sonders who placed blame on the VRBO and on top of that rejected us to rebook 4 times!! Shame on you!! This place was amazing. This is fantastic for larger parties! Our place had full baths attached to all four bedrooms! We absolutely loved our location! If you don't mind walking like us.. we were able to walk to midtown, Broadway, Belmont, and 12 south. You are the center of everywhere you want to be in Nashville. Our Uber rides were approximately 12$ to DT Broadway. There are nearby coffee shops if that's what you like as well. On to the place, the beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows. The balcony is huge. There are plenty of towels and extra sheets for the pull out couch. It is very quiet you do not hear the street traffic ( which is not a lot ), the neighborhood is very nice. The only downfall is the street parking is 2 hours and you have to pay for parking behind the building but the parking lot is on the back door and close. I have nothing bad to say about this place and would recommend it time...

Don't be fooled by the picture, this property is poorly built and poorly managed. The bed was broken and they knew that because of how poor of a job they did trying to fix it. Also the sofa bed was so uncomfortable that we closed it up and slept on it like a regular sofa. There was dust sitting in a few places. They were not flexible with check-in or checkout even though housekeeping finished cleaning the room 2 hours before check-in( we know because we had to sit outside). When it came down to check out they didn't let us stay 2-3 hours longer without paying over $100. Support was so unhelpful, and communication...
