I read a few Google reviews before picking this place for our Italian dinner tonight. It did not disappoint! The chicken parmigiana was amazing, if i hadn’t had stomach surgery years ago I’d have finished that instead of taking it home for leftovers! The mozza sticks were obviously fresh and delicious, the garlic butter knots were pure perfection! I wish I had more right now. We did have the cannoli and tiramisu for deserts, i stepped away for ~2 minutes and by the time I got back those were gone except one bite of cannoli. We took everything we could with us for leftovers, the prices were in my opinion below average for good Italian.

The service was great, someone that seemed to be part kitchen/part waitstaff saw our 6month old (he looks older) sitting on my spouses lap and immediately offered her a high chair or booster which we declined. He also made a point to turn a tv on to a classic (original Home Alone) for entertainment. If we lived locally we would absolutely be back!

Might have to make a trip back just for this...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Slice of Italy ,and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm ambiance and friendly service. The decor was tasteful, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that set the tone for a great meal.

The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, making it hard to choose just one. I ended up trying the Osh and Lagman and it did not disappoint. The flavors were well-balanced, fresh, and beautifully presented. I also appreciated the attention to detail—from the perfect seasoning to the thoughtful plating.

What stood out the most was the hospitality. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and they made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. The service was prompt, and the food arrived hot and fresh.

Prices were reasonable for the quality, and portion sizes were generous. Whether you’re looking for a place to enjoy a casual lunch or celebrate a special occasion,Slice of Italy is a...

The worst pizza we have ever eaten! The strange crust was saturated in garlic salt. The "eggplant" tasted like burnt, salty breadcrumbs. The cheese had no flavor. The pizza was missing a topping we paid for. It was so bad that most of it went right into the trash. This was a major disappointment, to say the very least! Update: The owner's reply to my review is WAY off base! He claims that I wrote a poor review because I made an error with which sides the toppings went on. That has nothing to do with it. He asks what topping was missing - the sun dried tomatoes were not there. The problems I noted, which I see that some others have mentioned, is the food quality. It was doused in garlic salt which made the crust terrible. The sauce and cheese had no flavor, and there was little sauce. The fried eggplant had no taste of eggplant - just salt and a burnt taste. I don't live in Tennessee. Maybe this is a regional thing, but this is not how pizza...

Great marketing the food looked amazing but the pizza as a New Yorker was not even close. The bread was very hard and didn’t have the flavor of a real Italian pizza. It was more similar to that as a cheap Pizza in texture. barely any sauce could not taste it and very little cheese. Yes, it looked amazing but there was no flavor and taste. I took a Uber last night to this location and end up spending total $28 for pizza and salad..Uber not included. I regretted it as I could’ve had a delicious five star meal for $30 bucks, so no one has the same experience. This may be OK for you but when you say real New York Italian style Italian pizza I’m expecting something that’s gonna melt in my mouth to be honest. Domino’s has much more flavor and taste with the cheese, toppings, and sauce. I truly regret having to leave this review, but I was very disappointed.

We went for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. The customer service was great and everyone was very kind. I think it was the owner who gave us extra garlic rolls aswell which was very nice. The pizza was really good but the fettuccine with chicken was the star of the show and the best we've ever had. We also ordered the garlic knots and they came with marina, the were amazing and buttery. The portions were great and the pasta had a lot of sauce unlike most places. I would recommend this place for anyone interested in some really good italian food. I love tiramisu and have had it from many places but this was the best tiramisu ive ever had! Definitely would go back again
