To have such a (comfortably) packed restaurant in Nashville where you will find THE best customer service (I am not kidding, these are the kindest people I’ve ever had service from,) is such a feat that I feel like it’s almost unheard of. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant. There’s so many pros here with zero cons- outstanding food, genuine and kind atmosphere, huge attention to detail, perfectly balanced customer experience, I mean the list goes on. This is actually my first time in the physical restaurant, but I have ordered online from them multiple times with huge success, so don’t think that virtually, you’ll have any less of an experience. We were greeted by Danny and Angie, who are such rockstars. From ordering to sitting down, it took them the time of my partner filling up a water glass to have our order out… I’m not exaggerating. Less than 5 minutes. If you need somewhere quick, with the highest quality around, you HAVE to try this place. We got two taco salads this time but frequently get burritos here (shocker, they’re SO good,) and the ground beef was perfection, flavored just the right amount to pair with the crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and of course the guac! I’m telling you, I could go on for hours about this place, it’s the best food you’ll find. Go give them some love :) They are genuinely the most deserving people- they have almost 5 stars for...
Read moreIf I could give this place 6 stars, I would. This place is a spinoff of Oscars Taco shop, but I believe owned and operated by only one of the Oscars brothers.
First off, it’s reasonably priced. Everything on the menu is on par with what you’d expect. I’m tired of overpriced tacos from a place with chic lighting where the goal of the business is a return on an angel investors investment. No, this is the family pursuing their dream here and putting heart and soul into this place. It shows.
The food was excellent. I got a surf and turf burrito and they gladly swapped the shrimp for fish, no up charge. What really got me was the sauce bar. Like 6 salsas and pickled veggies at your disposal, no extra charge. It’s the small things like that that’ll make me a loyal patron.
The atmosphere was decent. The lighting is kinda fluorescent, but look, I’d take that any day over a place that is hyper focused on aesthetic and leaves out the hospitality.
This place gets it, is the real deal, and I hope we (Nashville community) shows up to support it. I’m an eastie, but would gladly drive over here to patronize this...
Read moreI stopped in to try The Salty Burrito, and the name definitely fits — the burrito was on the salty side, but the flavor itself was actually quite good. The ingredients blended well, and it was hearty and satisfying in the moment. Unfortunately, it did leave me with a bit of stomach discomfort afterwards, which I think might have been from the cheese. That said, everyone’s stomach is different, so I don’t want to take away too much from the overall taste.
On the positive side, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The ambiance was also a highlight — the space had a great vibe, with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that made it enjoyable to sit down and eat.
Overall, I’d say The Salty Burrito delivers on flavor and experience, even if the saltiness and how it sat with me personally weren’t perfect. It’s worth a try, especially if you enjoy bold flavors in a fun,...
