Only Chicken Mediterranean Restaurant — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I’m always scouring the Internet for new and amazing culinary experiences that I have yet to discover in Nashville. And thankfully, our city keeps producing them! In fact, had it not been for those online, crowd-sourced restaurant review sites, I would have never discovered this little place tucked away on Belcourt Avenue in Hillsboro Village!

So what is this witchcraft? Can a place that’s way off the radar in Nashville in a tiny space off the beaten path be that delicious and maintain a near-perfect 4.9 average rating with a significant 805 online reviews (make that 806 now)? Surely you can’t be serious! I AM serious (and don’t call me Shirley). The food is legit!!

The menu has all sorts of chicken dishes, hence the name Only Chicken. And with such variety, familiarity with Turkish food is not a requirement to find a dish you like. They have something for everyone. So I opted for the large Spicy Chicken platter with a spice level of 3 (right in the middle). And it was VERY GOOD, pleasantly spicy without being overbearing. This surpasses my culinary experiences in Turkey!

My grilled chicken thigh pieces were stunningly tender, swimming in the most delectable creamy, spicy sauce! With Nashville’s large Middle Eastern population, consider this their answer to Nashville Hot Chicken! That was bordered by small tubes of high-quality pasta, probably ziti, impressively cooked to al dente perfection. The third component was a wonderful salad of lettuce, corn, olives, and what not.

Within the first few bites, I knew I was giving this spot a perfect five! It’s so unique, so tasty, and so unassuming. Honestly, 806 people (and counting)...

I've had the pleasure of dining here three times now with my girlfriends, and each visit has been nothing short of exceptional - a solid 10/10. From the delicious food to the warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere. It's also vegetarians and vegans friendly, with delicious options that are full with flavor. The perfectly cooked pasta and chicken, infused with delightful spices, create a good aroma that's hard to resist. The salad touch is very satisfying.

The restaurant itself is very clean and well-organized, adding to its charm. Everyone, including the owner, shows friendliness and care. The owner's personal touch, going from table to table to ensure everyone's satisfaction, reflects a genuine concern for every guest's experience.

I truly recommend this spot for gatherings, girls' nights, casual hangouts, or a relax evening with options for great drinks. The fact that they also offer catering services is a definite plus.

One thing I particularly love is the evening lighting, creating a peaceful and warm atmosphere—ideal for a romantic date night. Couples seeking a spot that combines great food, ambiance, and hospitality will find this place...

Only Chicken is a Mediterranean gem and one of my favorite lunch spots. While I haven’t had the chance to try their dinner since I don’t live nearby, I frequent the area for work, and this place never disappoints.

First and foremost, the restaurant is immaculately clean, and the staff is incredibly attentive—a genuinely friendly and welcoming team. The food quality is outstanding, and that’s what keeps me coming back. The value is just as impressive.

The chicken kebab plate is a standout: tender, marinated breast meat grilled to perfection, served with fluffy, perfectly cooked rice and a fresh, flavorful salad with a delicious dressing. Their chicken soup is incredible, though I do wish they offered a cup-sized portion, as the bowl is nearly $9—making it a tough add-on for lunch.

A hidden gem on the menu is their unsweet tea, infused with herbs, which is refreshingly unique. The restaurant also boasts a spacious patio with plenty of seating, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal outdoors.
