And the mozzarella was just the right amount bringing a satisfying chewiness to each bite.

The green herb oil's fresh and herbaceous notes provided a bright and refreshing contrast to the richness of the cheese and the sweetness of the tomatoes. It was the perfect finishing touch to an already outstanding dish.

CHARCUTERIE BOARD

The cured meats are tender and flavorful, with just the right balance of saltiness and sweetness. The artisan cheeses are rich and creamy, and perfectly complement the meats. The spreads add a touch of sophistication, and the honey comb brings a subtle sweetness that ties everything together.

The fresh fruits are a lovely contrast to the saltiness of the meats and cheeses, and the pickled onions provide a tangy, refreshing note that cuts through the richness of the other flavors. The nuts add a delightful crunch, and the olives provide a briny, savory flavor that's just irresistible.

RAGU PAPPARDELLE

First, let's talk about the pasta. The pappardelle is cooked to perfection - tender, yet with just enough bite to give it a satisfying texture. The ragu sauce is rich and savory, with just the right balance of acidity and sweetness. And then there's the short rib. Oh, the short rib. It's braised to the point where it practically melts in your mouth, releasing its deep, beefy flavor with every bite.

But what really takes this dish to the next level is the whipped ricotta. It's creamy, fluffy, and just a touch tangy, providing a perfect counterpoint to the richness of the ragu and short rib. And of course, the Grana Padano cheese adds a nutty, salty note that ties everything together.

Finally, there's the basil - a fresh, fragrant herb that provides a pop of color and a burst of freshness to each bite. It's the perfect finishing touch to a dish that's already bursting with flavor.

The best thing about this place was the atmosphere. As someone who is a Nashville native and has also done a bit of traveling, I’ve eaten at my fair share of places all over the country. I began before even entering the restaurant making a TikTok to share about how amazing Sinatra’s was and left wanting to post one about how horrible my experience was. As we entered the restaurant for our 6:45 reservation we were put to the side and told to stand there while three other couples got seated (who had walked in after us.) We waited patiently for 10 minutes and then as they were about to seat someone else we asked if we were going to be seated. As someone from the south, Nashville is known for it’s hospitality and friendly service. We finally made it to our table and at first our waitress was very polite. We ordered the meatballs, as recommended, and a salad to start. That was probably the best part of our meal but it wasn’t worth the $$ of it. I’ve had better salad at Olive Garden. The atmosphere was a 8/10 and the best part was the live Frank Sinatra impersonator.

We got our food and my halibut was absolutely horrible. It was dry and flavorless and for the price of $52 I could have gone and bought a halibut and grilled it up. The pastas weren’t bad but not worth the price for mediocre pasta.

I didn’t touch my fish and our waitress was no where to be found. We were entertained by the couple next to us and began a conversation with them. Our waitress never came by to check on us. The runner who brought out the food noticed I hadn’t touched it and came over to ask me if I needed a box or if it was okay? (This was not his job even though he was friendly and made sure our water was always full.)

He goes to get our waitress who then proceeds to look at me rudely and tells me that I should’ve said something way before I did…She then told me that

“For future reference you should tell your server as soon as the food is served and not wait, because then they may not be able to do anything about it.” As if I had never been to a restaurant before…

As someone with restaurant experience we are taught that the customer/consumer is always RIGHT even if they aren’t…. Especially if we are paying over $50 per dish.

Not only was the food below mid, and the service quite literally the worst service in Nashville I’ve ever received… but I think Frank Sinatra himself would be disappointed. This is highly unfortunate because I wanted to like this place. The restroom is also very inconvenient on the 2nd floor, you have to take an elevator and walk down a small hallway. The server I met on the elevator was the kindest person in there. I don’t know his name but he was more helpful than anyone else in there and told me to order a ribeye steak and said it was the best thing on the menu. He was so polite and I commend him for that.

His smooth and rich vocals effortlessly glided through classic Sinatra tunes, evoking a sense of nostalgia and transporting us back to a bygone era. His ability to interpret the songs with passion and emotion truly showcased his remarkable talent and love for performing. Moreover, the culinary delights offered at Sinatra's Bar & Lounge were nothing short of sensational. The menu was filled with a diverse selection of exquisite dishes, each plated beautifully and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail in the presentation and the high-quality ingredients used were evident in every bite.
