Let me sum up my review since it’s a long one. We didn’t get I.D. ‘d at all for alcohol Allergies weren’t taken seriously and now my friend is home with anaphylaxis We found hair in our sushi Now to get started. The server haylee was awful. We had two people in our party that had allergies to gluten -one with an intolerance and one that has an anaphylactic reaction. The first issue we actually came across was that haylee didn’t I.D. two of us for the wine we ordered, and then when our guests asked about the gluten free options she was very snippy about it. We specifically told her that there were allergies and I even said “we don’t want any deaths today,” and she went “yeah,ok.” And rolled her eyes. Our gluten free guests ordered and asked for salad, when it came out my friend asked what the dressing was and Haylee snapped “ginger” and nothing else. My friend took a few bites and felt off so we went to ask haylee what the ingredients of the ginger sauce was and she was on the phone and assumed we were looking for the restroom and harshly pointed to the restroom. We told her no, we need you. And she was like “oh, ok. Give me a minute.” We asked her about the dressing and she was still acting as if it was no big deal and said “oh it has a little soy sauce, there’s not much.” Which, if you didn’t know, soy sauce has gluten in it. Now, this is the guest that has an anaphylactic reaction to gluten. She is currently home trying to get her throat to stop swelling. And on top of all of this, we found hair in our food. Overall, I’m angry and disappointed. In total I spent 78$ and left no tip. I don’t know what else to say. This is ridiculous and...

I have had some wonderful sushi in my life. I first tried it in my late twenties, and have since tried to catch up with my fellow sushi consumers, and boy, I sure have put the work in, so to speak. I have had absolutely garbage gas station sushi, mediocre supermarket sushi (and surprisingly competent fare as well), and all manner of class of sushi. Ranging from average to clearly high quality sushi, my taste for sushi has been tested and refined time and time again. I never thought I would find an absolutely magnificent sushi restaurant in the middle of Nashville Tennessee, but here we are. You owe it to yourself to experience what this place has to offer. I was absolutely stunned upon experiencing it for the first time, and upon further contemplation I am in the exact same state of mind as I was before.

CHASED OUT THE RESTAURANT I’m a regular here, my fiancé and I come all the time. Our usually waitress wasn’t here and she gives exceptional service we tip her generously. We had a different waitress this time an older lady. After ordering $38 worth of food and leaving a $2 tip, we were told we HAVE TO tip her $8. Last time I checked I didn’t have to tip at all. We got chased out the restaurant and harassed to tip more. She went as far as to lecture us how much we should be tipping and that we had to do it.
