Read moreWe ordered lemondrop shots and they were made with poach schnapps first. I asked for it to be made correctly and it was just triple sec instead of vodka lemonade etc. I was told the business was closing soon so they might not be getting anymore supplies in. The next round I just asked for well vodka, energy drink and grenadine since they didn't have the cherry vodka. They were also out of grenadine so they offered to use strawberry. When I paid they charged me for Titos instead of well vodka. OK, fine but that wasn't what was ordered. They were really nice and I hate that the business was closing and they were supposedly losing their jobs so I just paid it. I also tipped on top of it. Afterwards I found out that already added gratuity to my bill. So they were tipped twice for their great personalities bc the drinks were terrible. We didn't try the food so can't comment on that.
Reply to owner: This was last Saturday. Our party of 9 was told the businesses were closing next week and being torn down to build condos. I'm not local but here are my suggestions: Bartender training. Teach them how to make drinks. The first round included 6 or 7 lemondrop shots made incorrectly. One girl wanted it remade and it was still wrong the second time. The second round included 2 cherry bombs turned into strawberry due to missing ingredients. I even said just to use well vodka but was charged titos. The last round had no issues. I opened a second tab and no issues with that round on it. If you're going to automatically add gratuity then make the customer aware so they're not tipping 44% on their tab. Especially when 9 out of 12 drinks were made wrong. The bartenders are sweet but...
Read moreHaving been our first time to Nashville, we were unsure of restaurants for dinner. We had passed Tacos & Tequila on our way to our hotel, and figured why not give it a shot. I wished we had not. Upon entering the restaurant, we had just been told to sit wherever and not seated by a host even though it was a formal restaurant. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, which was fine. I was a party of three and we all ordered the midtown quesadilla, one of us ordering without the peppers/onions. After we placed our meal order is when everything went downhill. The host came back out saying that our order would most likely be wrong because the cooks do not understand english. I initially laughed because I thought the host was joking. However, he was very much not joking as he repeated himself and walked away. The meals came out and they only had cheese, when they were supposed to have peppers, onions, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole. It was just three cheese quesadillas on a plate. I don't understand if the host knew the order was going to be wrong before the meal even came out, why it was not fixed ahead of time. The check comes and we were charged full price for every quesadilla, which was missing all the ingredients. As a "courtesy", the host took off the 20% gratuity fee and told us not to give him a tip instead. I was highly disappointed with this place and would avoid it at all costs during your visit as there are many other delicious places to eat...
