Time and value doesn’t seem to match the cost. I recommend going to brunch elsewhere and then attending the show Saturday night unfortunately.
Food / Drinks: Issue - it took forever for drinks to come out. Servers were more concerned about the biscuits and breakfast egg rolls than serving alcohol…
Recommendation - forego the biscuits/gravy and rolls, provide mimosas instead. I noticed how much food was left over and untouched. Make the table food a menu item to order instead of potentially wasting food. Additionally, supply a vase of mimosas per table or set # of people in the party. Every good brunch serves drinks first, we know this :) Make the drinks part of the reservation options if it’s easier.
Service: Issue - our server seemed lost, high, and like attentiveness was difficult. He would just go missing for periods at a time. It was unfortunate.
Drag: (the actual performance was great, we just needed more)
Issue - length of time… we sat for over an hour waiting on seating, servers, food, drinks and just people watching. The air just seemed stagnant. The stage was lit up but nothing was happening. By the time the show started, the first portion of the act was introducing the parties to each other. When the actual show started, the performers were on it and excellent, but each performer went twice followed by a male bartender Magic Miking the room. The drag portion of the brunch was the shortest part of the whole ordeal. As good as it was, it was super underwhelming.
Recommendation - do the party introductions while people are waiting to be served, or at least after the orders are taken. People need to be entertained and efficiency is always valued. This will allow customers to be more engaged and allows performers to take their time and to put on a longer show. It will also decrease the shock value of bill when we realize the food/service and amount of time wasn’t...
Read moreThis was now the second time I’ve tried this place and the experience was the same. Our server was RJ and he was great and nice. Drag/entertainment was good.
Pace of service and food were questionable at best.
Most of the food felt like it was purchased frozen from Costco, thawed, cooked, and then served to us. The hamburger was definitely a frozen patty and wasn’t even seasoned. Avocado was bleh. Bacon was the highlight of the experience. Honestly, food from Costco would have probably been better. It just wasn’t great at all.
Service was terribly slow. I’ve worked in the service industry for a long time prior and this was no reflection of the server. We waited about 45 minutes for food and drink. We saw some tables getting their entrees before we even had drinks or our appetizer at our table. Moreover, we wanted another app because our service took so long but they only make enough to serve one for each table. I couldn’t even really order additional food if I wanted to pay more. Definitely a let down.
Lastly, we sat at our table, no drinks or food, with no entertainment for almost 45 minutes. The show finally started and we got our drinks and appetizer shortly after.
Not a great experience. I tipped our server 20% because I feel like this is a failure on the establishment since it happened the same way the first time - rather than a failure on the server’s part.
There is definitely huge room for...
Read moreVisiting Nashville for the first time and found this on a blog website and was super excited to go! My partner and I made reservations as we didn’t want to miss out due to it being too busy! When we arrived, we were asked if we had a reservation, we said yes (the restaurant being more than halfway empty at this point). The host put us all the way in the back of the restaurant by the bar where the performers walked by us on their way out and back in. Could not see the show, however we were still charged a $4 cabaret charge per person. My feet were sticking to the floor, the table was sticky, as was my chair. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my chicken tasted like left overs, but my waffles were decent. My partner ordered the crab cakes and she loved them, she also loved her Bloody Mary! I tasted her crab cakes and was also very impressed. The server was also very efficient. Overall, pretty disappointing experience, as the entire reason we wanted to go was to experience the performance and we did not get the chance to do that yet we’re...
