So, I have Celiac Disease & haven’t been out to eat in 14 years because of my fear of gluten cross-contamination. I saw in the window that they had Gluten-Free subs. I went in, got a Regular #11 on an Udi’s brand Gluten-free sub. Frickan FANTASTIC! Yes, I was a bit desperate to feel ‘normal’ again, to sit in a place & actually say I had gone out to eat, but the whole experience goes much deeper than that. I’ve been back a dozen times over the 2018 year. I have NEVER gotten sick from the subs, even though I am extremely sensitive to Gluten. The associates were meticulously careful when preparing the sub. They changed their gloves, wiped down the meat slicer, put the roll on a separate tray, and made absolute sure that nothing jeopardized the sub. They never have an attitude that it’s an inconvenience, and carefully walk me through each step of the toppings. The store is always clean. Condiments, soda machine, ice, and napkins are always filled. The workers are always very attentive. The Manager that I always see there; big guy with a darker complexion and dark hair. Let me say say this about him; you’re a manager at a sub shop, but you approach it as though you’re a top executive at a large Fortune 500 corporation, while still having fun with your co-workers. We need more of that work ethic and positive attitude in the service industry! He’s great at his job, and it reflects on those that work with him. Lastly, although not the only great worker, Zoe is absolutely wonderful! She remembers her customers by name AND their preferred subs! The other workers are always in a happy mood with her. Jersey Mike’s has been a lifesaver for me. I’ve recently been to a couple of other JM stores. Great, but not as good as the Neptune one. Thank you for helping me to enjoy dining out again. Read morePre-ordered a special party box for a birthday party. Half of the subs were not marked so guests did not know what each sub was. Then I discovered there was no “Club Sub” in the box that was supposed to be in there, so I called the restaurant to let the manager know. He told me he “made the order himself” and he “knew it was made correctly” — I was staring at the sub that was unmarked and without ham and bacon so hearing the “manager” tell me that I was wrong and he was correct was a tad infuriating. Read moreHave to give this staff a huge shoutout for how kindly and professionally they dealt with a wildly rude customer that was in front of me in line. She was loudly complaining about how “dirty” the store was (which it was not, it just looked like lunchtime rush had ended), made countless over the top demands for how she wanted her sandwich and even tried to bully the cashier into using an expired coupon - despite all that, the staff stayed calm, cool, and collected. I didn’t get their names, but big shoutout to the shift lead with the septum piercing and the blonde girl on the cash register for how they handled this woman. And for making a pretty good sandwich too!! Love this...
