I cannot say enough positive things about this place and the owners and entire staff!! I hosted a social event for work here this weekend and had an amazing time. The owners were so easy to work with and they supported the vibe that I was going for. We had over 70 people attend and everyone fit comfortably in the restaurant. The food was amazing and the drinks were awesome!! We had so much fun they matched the music to the overall vibe of the event and the owners were attentive the entire time!! I recommend any and everyone to come check out this place and even host their party here. Thank you all so much for providing such an amazing space for us! We will definitely be back!! Also love that it is a Black Owned business!

I was referred to this bar by a friend. This bar plays great music and have a great atmosphere. This bar gives a laid back upscale feel. The food was good and the drinks are great. UPDATE: I was fortunate to visit this bar while in town again. There was plenty of people there but not too many to feel over crowded. I met the owner of the bar and you can tell the passion and the knowledge he has for the his craft and bar. My bartender Lindsay was exceptional. This was fast, accurate and had great attention to detail. I found out her backstory and she's is a very world accomplish mixologist. If you haven't had a chance to experience Victory, I encourage you to.

There is definitely a reason this is on the best happy hours list. The atmosphere was amazing, very plush and stylish. Everyone there was great and we all loved the food. For the first round we went with specialty cocktails and I had the Dante which I highly recommend. We noticed the bartender struggled a bit to keep up with the specialty cocktails, with a large group which is the only reason service got a 4 and not a 5. We switched to wine and champagne and after the first round. Definitely worth a shot if you're downtown and looking to keep out of the 5pm traffic or a place to meet after work.

The lack of professionalism and customer service was unbelievable. First, employees arguing with each other in front of customers over a burger order that must have not been placed correctly for whatever reason!!! First red flag!!!!🚩 Next, other customers that came in after us were getting their food and drinks before us even though the waitress/Camille (owner) had taken our order—that’s when I realized she totally forgot and never placed our order. She finally got our order in and never apologized! Which would have been nice considering the amount of time that had lapsed which was at that point about an hour. Then, after never getting my drink I had initially ordered and waited for about an hour I decided to cancel the drink and that’s when it really became unprofessional. After canceling my drink the bartenders started arguing with each other over who was responsible for making the drink. The owner never took responsibility for any of it or intervened in the situation or try to make things right. When I tried to bring it up to her in a respectful way she was completely dismissive and only asked if the food was good and walked off while I was trying to explain to her the situation. To top it off they still made the drink after telling them more than once I did not want the drink at that point and then still charged me for the drink!!!! In addition, they included a 20% gratuity for a party of two people! Have a little more humility and responsibility Camille and learn to manage your people. Also, don’t come up with excuses. The concert was not the issue—it was your lack of accountability and pure simple customer...

Being an annual visitor to NOLA, I am still amazed at the things we find. New Orleans Drink Lab, operated by Daniel Victory, is one that will be on our schedule for years to come. Having visited at a time when COVID is still affecting business here, it was a treat to be able to still participate - and they took every precaution to make you feel comfortable given the circumstances.

From the beginning you are given a brief, but concise, history of the Lab and cocktails. It is run by 2 of the most talented professionals that one could expect and the instruction was presented in a fun and humorous manner. The Classic class teaches 4 NOLA drinks. After taking the class, knowing what we were taught, I will never again order these particular drinks without knowing what process the bartender is using.

Taking the class has given me more of an appreciation for what happens behind the bar and more disdain for what doesn't or shouldn't. It has definitely upped my game for home mixing and has me hungry to learn more.

Word of caution-no matter how much of a drinker you are, plan ahead. If you drive in, have a designated driver - otherwise take some other form of transportation. You WILL be feeling it after the class. Class is 2 hours long and you consume 4 made how they should be drinks (with some judgmental half-shots mixed in). Doing the math-won't pay to drive.

All that said, it, by far, is one of the best experiences we've had so far in NOLA. We thank Camille and Daniel for continuing during such a...

Ate here on Thursday 10/9. Bartender was barred out I think. My wife ordered a spicy margarita only to be rather unabashedly that they didn't have what they needed to make it. We then shifted gears to dirty martinis. When we received them, it was the dirtiest of martinis I've ever seen, with maybe 1 shot of vodka between the 2 martinis. Don't think he bothered to stir or shake them, as the small amount of vodka that was in it, was all at the bottom. I once made a dirty martini when I was 25 and didn't drink them or know the recipe, and didn't use vermouth, and it was much better. Ordered food, which seemed like chore. The food was all very good. Definitely recommend the creole pizza. Jumbalaya skillet was solid, but a little dry. Brussels were pretty good. When we went to check out, the bartender who had waited on us was nowhere to be found. The other bartender, who was very nice (probably made better drinks) had to ask us what we had to drink, as the other had not even rang our drinks in. We told him and commented about the vodka/lack thereof and he apologized and made it right for us. Probably won't be back on our next visit. Hats off to the second bartender that we dealt with for having to clean up the other guy's...
