Stopped by Two Chicks one morning while visiting New Orleans and I'm so glad I did. Great space, really good food and loved the environment.
Environment Located in downtown New Orleans, you might miss it if you're not paying attention (don't miss it!). Really cute establishment with plenty of dining space but I heard that they do get packed for brunch during most days. I was lucky enough to go at a time where I was able to just walk right in. Lovely place with a great relaxed ambiance - you can come in with family and friends or by yourself with a book.
Service The service was warm and welcoming. My server made sure I had everything I needed and was very quick and efficient in providing service. Very friendly and had great energy.
Food and Drinks The food was really good. I had the pancakes, grits and scrambled eggs with a mocha and orange juice.
Pancakes -- really fluffy and tasty - its hard to make bad pancakes but some people find a way. These were really good and warm and did the trick
Scrambled eggs -- I got them with cheese and scrambled soft. They were very good and flavorful. Not too runny and made just right.
Grits -- grits can be tricky and I'm usually very picky about them but they did a overall good job with them! Very savory - i would order again.
Mocha and Orange juice - the orange juice was good and the mocha wasn't sweet enough for me so I may go for something else next time.
Overall I loved this place. Overall the food was great and good quality and I loved the atmosphere. I would definitely come back to try other things...
Read moreMy friend and I find this restaurant when we visited New Orleans for the Madi Gras festival. After visiting the restaurant, we were amazed by the food and visited it the second time two days later. Overall, the food is tasty and the price is really good.
In our first visit, both of us ordered the crab cake benedict. Usually, for the benedict, the bread will be either a English muffin or a scone. However, they use a croissant, which is really special. The crab cake is big and has a lot of crab meat. The croissant is toasted and crispy. The benedit egg is well cooked. The hollandaise sauce is cajun flavor, which I like a lot. Personally, I feel like it is a must try for a benedict lovers.
In our second visit, I ordered the under the sea omelet. It has crab meat, shrimps and bell pepper with cheese. The omelet is soft. It is soy enjoyable to put the omelet with the stuffing on a piece of toast and put them into the mouth at the same time. This omelet is worth the try.
I would definitely recommend people to try out this restaurant. Remember to go earlier. Otherwise, you will need to wait in...

If you appreciate top-notch service, Two Chicks Café is the place for you. It’s busy and a bit chaotic, but the staff handles it with efficiency and warmth. I was seated near the entrance and had a clear view of how they treated both dine-in guests and delivery drivers; always with kindness and gratitude, even in the rush. This place truly invites you to come in and feel at home.
I ordered the potato bowl with andouille sausage, and it was fantastic. The flavors were spot on, though I do wish the cheese had been melted a bit more—letting it sit hot in the kitchen for an extra moment would have done the trick. The red onions had a good bite to them, which I personally enjoyed, but if you prefer them softer, I’d recommend asking for a little extra cook time, especially during busy mornings. The potatoes were perfect, and the eggs (hard American scrambled) were just right.
Overall, it was a fantastic breakfast, and I’m already planning to go back...
