My experience here was great. For a first time Raising Cane’s experience, I was thoroughly pleased that the food lived up to the hype.
It didn’t take long for our food to be ready. I got the box combo which came with four chicken tenders, Texas toast, coleslaw, and a drink.
The coleslaw was surprisingly very good – sweet, crunchy, and savory. It was definitely a welcome change of flavor and texture with the other heavier food items.
The Texas toast is insane. I could legitimately eat only that and be happy. It is served hot and is extremely flavorful. It has a little bit of crunch on the exterior, but the interior is soft and buttery. I can’t do it justice trying to describe it in words.
The chicken is on another level. The chicken tenders were super crispy on the outside while being very delicate, tender, and moist on the inside. Easily some of the best chicken tenders you will get at a fast food establishment. Their Cane’s sauce is a tangy, savory sauce that had a very mild hot sauce and garlic flavor embedded in what I assume is a mayo, ketchup, and like a Worcestershire sauce. Whatever it is, that is liquid gold.
The best part about the experience here at this food court is that you can then take the food and eat it right outside right next to the river. It’s a beautiful spot to relax by the water and...
Read moreWow, this place was good!
I had never been here before, and I only even came here because I had a friend with me who is from the midwest. She vouched for this chain of restaurants, I trusted her, and I have no regrets.
It reminds me of Huey Magoo's. Simple fried chicken served with simple sides and some bread. I wish I could go into more detail on it, but there's really not a ton to say. The chicken was fried perfectly, and so were the fries. Nothing was dripping wet in oil. The bread was good, too. I actually won a free bread in a little game they were playing with little pull-off tabs on their cups of soda. That was fun.
The thing that really sets them apart was their sauce. It was a tangy, zingy little sauce, comparable to Zaxby's, but with a little less tang than them. It was delightful. I recommend coming here and trying it out if you've never come here...
Read moreThe service and quality of this restaurant is NOT at all like that of a free standing location. I am unsure if it's poor management or a franchise run store but those two points are vastly different. I should've known I was in trouble when the young lady up front was trying to coerce her coworker to "drop me some hot fries, I'm fina get off." I've worked in restaurants and know there's perks but...WOW!? I think I'll eat BEFORE I go next time; and if I want Cane's, I'll table it for a better experience. Save your money and yourself the...
