Truly disappointing customer service!

I have been a loyal customer of 7th Street Burger due to their amazing burger but honestly my latest experience on Saturday night (04/27) experience was disappointing. I placed an order at the Williamsburg location at around 1:40. The cashier disclosed that the order will take up to 15 minutes something which was fine with me. I waited patiently at the line as the customers that ordered way after me got their order. At 2:20 me, as well as other customers, complained cause it was over 40 minutes of waiting. The manager disclosed that there was a confusion with some tickets and that the tickets were lost. He asked me to wait another 20 minutes till the order is ready - that would be a total of an hour of wait for two cheeseburger. I asked for a refund of my order or a voucher as the wait time exceeded any reasonable waiting time for a fast food restaurant. He said that he can’t give a refund nor a voucher and that I will have to wait. What seems to me as discriminatory is that he did give voucher (red cards) to other customers. Of course I walked out, frustrated, disappointed with this experience with a loss of money and time!

The employees are truly working hard and I respect their service but there is truly no need for such a behaviour especially since I was patient and friendly from my side. This would have been easily resolved with a voucher equal to my order or a simple...

The hamburgers are great, so this isn’t about the food—it’s about the service and a disappointing experience with one of the staff members. The restaurant closes at 3 AM, and we arrived at 2:25 AM, ordered food, and sat at a table. However, we were told shortly after that we had to leave the seating area and move either to the front (which had no chairs or space) or outside, where there was also no available seating.

I expressed my concerns to the cashier, who responded rudely, saying things like 'don’t be such a crybaby.' At that point, I decided to request a refund since I didn’t want to eat outside in the cold. The cashier printed vouchers claiming the refund was processed, so we left. Upon checking the vouchers, we realized no refund had been made.

My partner went back to address the issue and spoke with a different cashier (a girl), who confirmed the refund had not been processed. She apologized and issued the refund. The original cashier, who had falsely claimed the refund was made earlier, appeared nervous and eventually apologized to my partner. He also provided two free burger coupons in an attempt to make amends.

While the situation was eventually resolved, it’s clear that the first cashier attempted to deceive us and only acted once confronted. This behavior is unacceptable and soured what could have been a...

Good food but TERRIBLE service.

We ordered three cheeseburgers, 2 fries, and a side of sauce. We get home to discover that one burger is missing. Fine, things happen. We call the store to correct it and get an automated message that says to email with any order issues. I've emailed THREE times in 11 days and haven't gotten a single response. So they stole our money for that burger and never fixed the issue.

We decided to give them another try and see if we could explain the situation in person to see if they could fix it. We get there at 2:30 PM and they say they don't open for another half hour. Their hours clearly state they open at 12 PM so I have no idea why they're not opening until 3 PM. We said screw it and got Shake Shack instead.

The food is decent. The burgers are a bit small, yes, but they're solid burgers for when you want a greasy craving. The fries are decent, and the house sauce is yummy.

Unfortunately the lack of customer service means we won't be returning. Mistakes happen and that's fine, but if I can't contact your business to rectify a situation where an item I PAID FOR is missing then you're gonna lose my business. Going almost 2 weeks with multiple attempts to contact them and getting no response is unacceptable. So is deciding to open three hours...

I went to this spot at around 1:45 am, ordered food and stood on line to use the restroom. The person using it before took around 20 minutes. When it was finally my turn to use the restroom the employee blocked me saying theyre closing even though they close at 3 am…. I explained i was waiting and had an hour and a half drive back home, but the employees forcefully tried to tell me to use the restroom at the pizzeria next door. Thats completely unethical and unprofessional, i did not pay money at the establishment next door to use their facilities, and i told them ive been waiting for 20 minutes…i cant control the person in the restroom before me. Rude and unprofessional employees that probably should be retrained on manners and common courtesy. They act as if i asked for their kidney to use the restroom for thirty seconds. Burgers and food taste good but burger patties definitely run on thinner side. One coke, two burgers and fries ran 30$ which is average price. Service of this establishment really left a sour taste, and that alone will deter me from ever buying food from here again. (Shoutout this guy and his other guy friend that lack people skills and politeness)

7th St Burger has landed in Williamsburg and it is fantastic as it is at other outposts. much larger space with a backyard patio during warmer months and a good amount of seating in the back. the menu is simple and straightforward like other locations--the burgers come hot off the grill. the double cheeseburger? meaty, cheesy and messy as it should be. the fries? crispy, fluffy insides, and piping hot. the burgers and fries are consistently good and that's what make 7th Street’s menu such a reliably good burger spot. service is friendly despite the busy-ness throughout the day and night. if you're in Williamsburg and hungry, go here asap and enjoy.
