A & J Grocery Deli — Restaurant in New York

This is my go to store. They make the best hot food and have a very friendly and respectful staff who seems to love their job or respect the fact that they are making food for others so how it is handled and prepared does matter. The store is always clean and where they cook in the back is clean as well as the counter top. The refrigerator and shelves are as stocked as can be. Can't fault them for what sells out quickly because they do re - stock...

They make good food here and are very clean. The cook wears gloves and a mask and keeps the food counter clean inside and out. They have Halal meat. The breakfast is great and their sandwiches. They have a decent selection of juice and waters. Its a small store but pulls a big crowd at times . The staff are very friendly and move quickly but efficiently so nothing is rushed to where service lacks or food is not properly cooked...

Love this Deli, they have been around for a long time, and knows what thrcpeople want and how they want it. The guy in the front (curly hair) is soooo very pleasant. SIDEBar: my favorite is the beef bacon cooked crispy...they understand crispy and NOT burnt!! Great Deli,...
