I used to manage a coffee shop, and I had to train baristas in pulling a good shot. There are two things I’m experiencing in drinking the coffee that concerns me: 1. The coffee tastes sour in both the espresso and the drip. The grind size should be adjusted regularly, usually finer if sour, coarser if bitter. 2. I watched three different baristas spin the tamper in the portafilter and press at the same time. This can cause issues with pulling the shot as well. 2025 10/10 update to my 2021 review. I went in at 4pm and was told they have no espresso Because “it’s too late” and they only have iced coffee and hot coffee.
