This spot was right around the corner from our AirBnb on 12th Street. We went late night and during the day…EVERY DAY WE WERE IN TOWN 😓😂. Each time we went the service was great and even going late at night (after midnight) we felt safe. It’s a corner-store walk up; so I don’t know how much “atmosphere” you gonna get, but I still put 5 stars because all of the employees and other regulars were polite and friendly :). The food was great and each cashier was helpful and hospitable. Highly recommended from three out of town southern women🤗!

This place low key blew my mind. A truly exemplary NYC Chicken/Lamb over rice featuring quality meat grilled to perfection (crispy and hot on the outside, perfectly moist on the inside), and served with a kind heart. Perhaps the best I’ve had in eight years of living here. Can’t wait to sample more of the menu whenever I’m in the area.

Honestly, they need six stars. If you could design a corner store for yourself this would probably be what you come up with. They have everything you need 24/7/365, and they deliver! I think its one of the few delis that have more than one vegan/vegetarian option. That's beyond the salads. They'll take care of you for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and snacks. Also, everyone behind the counter is always pleasant, no matter how ornery the clientele may get. What else? Great selection of beer. Growing selection of CBD products. A plethora of plant based and healthy snacks and an equally impressive selection of sugary and salty snacks. Oh! The coffee is good too and they have around 20 different teas. Bottom line, this place is clearly operated by people who respect and love the neighborhood and are keyed into the wants and needs of its customer base. If you need more than that, I don't know what...

If you’re looking for a true neighborhood gem, this corner deli is it! The sandwiches here are on another level—fresh, flavorful, and packed with quality ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic turkey and cheese, a loaded Italian sub, or a specialty sandwich with their own unique twist, every bite hits the spot.

And let’s talk about the juice options—absolutely refreshing! From freshly squeezed orange juice to custom blends packed with fruit and veggies, everything tastes crisp and natural. It’s the perfect pick-me-up, whether you’re starting your day or need a mid-afternoon boost.

Beyond the food, the staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It’s one of those places that brings the community together, serving up top-notch eats with a personal touch.

Highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be...

I’m honestly really disappointed with my recent visit. I asked for just a splash of mango nectar in my smoothie—nothing major, just a small tweak—and was shocked to see a $2 charge added for it. Two dollars for a splash? That feels excessive and completely unreasonable. I get that add-ons might come at a cost, but this wasn’t a full ingredient swap or anything like that.

It left a bad taste in what was otherwise a decent experience. I hope the store reconsiders how they handle minor customizations like this—it shouldn’t feel like you’re being nickel-and-dimed for something so small . Don’t worry about...
