I normally do not give negative review but their location in Manhattan tested my patience. I have been to both of their sites and food is good that part is fine but the behavior I got yesterday by a female employee is really hurtful. I went there yesterday and I was fasting I just went to take a soda/juice so that I can break my fast in the train. When I went there, there were no customers and the lady was doing something. I just grabbed a snapple and wanted to pay and leave. I called her 3 to 4 times but she did not respond. Then, one of her male coworkers called her and said that I was calling her. The minute she turned she was showing me attitude and said that she was doing sonething. I said but there was no one and she should attend her customer first or should at least have the courtesy to tell me to wait and she would be there and I said that she can not be rude to her customers. Then she told me pretty unpleasant things and I said that it is fine I do not want anything and want to leave. She then took the snapple and closed the counter and was giving me rude looks. I also work with people and I know this is not the way to behave. The reason for this long post is that I want to bring attention as rude people like her gives an impression to people that people in Ny are rude which is not true. For few people like her, others have a bad name. I want the management to make sure that for people like her, they should not lose face as they have a good...
Read moreMemo Shish Kebab in Manhattan offers an exceptional Turkish dining experience that stands out in the city. Located at the bustling corner of 23rd Street and 6th Avenue, this eatery combines convenience with authentic flavors.
I dined in and was impressed by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the efficiency of the service. The menu features a variety of grilled meats, with the lamb kebabs and mixed grill being particularly noteworthy. The meats are grilled to perfection and accompanied by an assortment of delectable sauces that enhance the overall flavor profile.
While the food quality is consistently high, some diners may find certain items, like the lamb, to be slightly gamey. However, the chicken dishes and gyros receive widespread acclaim for their tenderness and taste. The restaurant operates on a fast-casual basis, allowing customers to order and pay before enjoying their meals, which are noted for their freshness and great taste.
While some may find the prices a bit steep, the quality and authenticity of the dishes make it well worth the expense.
In summary, my dine-in experience at Memo Shish Kebab was delightful, offering a true taste of Turkish cuisine in Manhattan. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking bold, authentic flavors in a casual yet...
Read moreSo I would say this about this place the lady that was there taking the orders she was very nice and kind and she also answered my question about what I wanted to ask her about the food so that was perfect now she said it was a 15-minute wait but it like 30 minutes because everybody's food was coming out that was sitting there to eat in and I was there to take out but either way I ordered chicken kabob with Turkish bread and it's really good for the simple fact that it tastes nice and fresh and everything is cooked fresh and all the meats are fresh and also the sauce they give you is not really that good if you put ranch on it and brings out the flavor even more but $15 plus tax I don't really think it's worth it but either way like I said it was really good and very fooling.... Would I recommend this place definitely because they have a lot of different things and a lot of good things...
