This place was recommended by a friend who told me that they were having a promo deal where if you spend $10 then you can get a chance to spin their prize wheel (including a labubu figure). Ofc, I had to check this place out. It’s a cute cozy and friendly atmosphere. There are some seating where you can sit and enjoy their pastries & drink. They have some unique pastries like the matcha croissant crisp, taro mochi ball or mini mango pomelo. I got myself the taro mochi ball and cute bunny hot dog bun along with their coffee. The taro mochi ball was delicious with the taro flavor. The bunny hot dog is kept cold because of the chocolate ears and eyes of the bunny. Personally I like to eat my bun warm and they offered to heat it for me. It has been awhile since I had a hot dog bun, it was tasty. Beside the spin the prize wheel, they also have other promotions like $1 medium brewed coffee with a purchase of baked goods or spring season special of classic bread collection- 4 for $9.99 or 8 for $15.99. Worth checking it out if you are near the area.

I’ve been to this store more than ten times and always had smooth, pleasant visits. But this time was really bad.

The staff member I encountered, a young woman with black glasses and tattoos, was extremely rude. From outside, you couldn’t even tell anyone was working inside. When we walked in, she was sitting in the corner behind the counter scrolling on TikTok.

We had an online order ready for pickup (the app clearly showed it was ready), but she refused to give it to us, saying we had to wait until a certain time because “the manager said so.” I’ve never heard of this before -- every other time I’ve been here, pickup was no problem.

While we waited, one of her friends came in and they chatted for nearly half an hour. During that time, other customers came in and she ignored them completely.

When it was finally “time,” she threw our order bag in front of us without a word and slammed the fridge door in the store heavily. I genuinely feel sorry for the store owner that this kind of attitude will drive loyal customers away.

It’s hard to believe someone like this is representing the store. As a regular customer, I left feeling both...

March 17, 2024: I got the Jasmine Matcha Crepe and the chocolate mini cake. The crepe was terrible. In the beginning you taste the matcha but after it’s in your mouth it taste like an old perfume and lotion combined. This has a terrible after taste, I thought by accident I was eating my lip gloss but no it’s the cake.

Next was the chocolate cake, the only good part of the chocolate cake was the oreo on top. The cake tasted like they made it with water and had no flavour. I couldn’t finish it.

The interior is very cute and the young lady at the register was very sweet, but I would not come here again due to the lack of flavor in the desserts.

———- UPDATE: I changed my review from 1 star to 3. The manager was kind enough to give me a refund for this and allow me to choose a desert. I ended up picking the egg tart, it was okay.. Again, the workers are very kind and helpful, I just personally did not like the deserts. But it is nice seeing a shop that is respectful and accommodating to...
