After working up an appetite from a visit to an art exhibit showcasing art therapy, (shout out to the art therapists!!!! INCREDIBLE WORk!!!) my girlfriend and I were looking for that perfect place to eat, imbibe and enjoy some good music without having to scream at each other the entire time. This turned out to be quite the feat. After wandering around, we stumbled upon this hidden gem. Initially, it was a bit empty but as time wore on, it began to fill up. So much to say about this place. We were greeted by a very attractive bartender-KILLER SMILE. Immediately, I discovered they had no drink menu but the bartender promised me he could make a margarita that wouldn’t disappoint. He didn’t lie either. It was so strong, I couldn’t drink it. By the way, don’t ask for the house margarita unless, you can really throw down with your alcohol. I consider myself a CHAMP but I was quickly proven a CHUMP. I had to settle for a cold Corona instead. The bartender, Sebastian but I call him Seb-bast-Eon (has a sexiness to it to match his good looks and personality) was quick and kind about letting the Margarita mess go and just charged me for the beer. My friend and I chose the nachos. I am always one to keep it real. They were nothing to write home and tell mama about BUT they satisfied our hunger. Keeping up with a conversation was almost impossible for me because the music was PUMPING. Almost every time that played, I couldn’t help but sing along. I’m talking about the classics-The Chili Peppers, Nickelback, Alanis Morissette…just to name a few. The music was definitely a lot of good old 90’s and 2000’s throw backs. Aesthetically speaking, words will do little to no justice in trying to describe it. For one, the place is ginormous! They are not in lack of seating, that’s for sure. The dark wood, exposed brick and ceiling tiles give you a vibe. This place is definitely a magnet for tourists and locals. Very diverse patrons. My friend and met several Australians, a Brit and a Scott-my favorite accent. This is the type of place you’d have to see for yourself. Highly recommend checking it out after work or if you’re in the neighborhood and just want to chill-a perfect place. Be sure to ask for Sebastian. He will get you right and just...

Went with family to game night at this pub last night and we had so much fun. We were in the middle of the pub, facing the bar in two booths, which my cousin reserved for family and friends. There was seating at the bar as well naturally. A caterer was brought in to feed the folk attending the event. I didn't drink anything but water which came from a tap (no bottled water) so I am not sure what the drinks cost there. It's a nice pub overall. Those bartenders worked their butts off from what I observed. I heard the sangria was really good. They had two pitchers in our booth. My concern was security didn't pat folk down. They did check bags though. The parking was horrendous last night. After midnight you can generally park almost anywhere downtown Manhattan. Last NYPD had parking placards saying no parking Saturday or Sunday on so many lamp posts in the area of the pub where there were signs that said you could park there. A lot of the placards were on the ground or resting at the bottom of the pole or lamp post, so I feel bad for folk who didn't see the placards and had gotten their vehicles towed. The NYPD tow trucks were riding around towing people's vehicles that didn't adhere to the placards. The placards come about when there is a special event, some construction or some...

My colleagues and I came here after a long shift on a Friday Night . This waitress in the photo treated us poorly and was more attentive to the white clients coming in and out the bar . Which is such a shame as a latina myself i believe everyone should be attended to with respect when visiting an establishment. She was kind of passive aggressive and acted like taking our order was too much for her , but happily attended others . We were very patient with her attitude, and even tried to be overly pleasant so that she can service us better, and left an 18% tip that she absolutely did not deserve. Do yourself a favor and hire people With better customer service skills because it really goes a long way . The bar seemed pretty empty for a Friday night and i understand why . If that’s the kind of customer service the working class like myself receive then I wouldn’t bother coming back and wasting my money or time here . This woman needs training on...

A very nice pub to hit for some nice portions in lunch. Plenty of food to take away. The interior is decorated snugly, with long tables and various chairs. This place gets entirely packed on St. Patty's day and the other usual suspects. The menu is interestingly diverse. I came for lunch with a friend during Lent and got the fish and chips. The fish pieces were surprisingly large and filling. They were not overly battered and very crisp yet flaky inside. The chips were not that crispy, but they were a generous thickness and it was a good meal overall.
